Boohoo Wishlist #2

It's here again!
The next series in my Boohoo Wishlist is Boohoo Boutique. This is the nice night time clothes or luxury items that everyone wants! So let's get into it!
(I apologise for the bad quality picture, I don't know how to get it better!)

So the first item is this pair of shorts. They are the Boutique Mya All Over Hand Beaded Shorts for £15 and I actually own these shorts! I thought I would add these because I absolutely love these shorts. I think they look so much more expensive than they actually are. The beading detail is so nice and even though I don't have the matching top it still works with loads of things. I usually wear them on a night out with a cropped top and heels because it looks so elegant.

Next is the Boutique Pam Patterned Bodycon Dress and I absolutely love this dress. Although it might clash with my hair I love the patterns and especially on the hem of the dress. I like the conservative top part too, not showing off any chest because that's usually what I go for. I think this would look great at a christmas party of something like that and it's only £35.

The middle one is actually a coat and I do have one similar to this that I've started to wear constantly. This is the Boutique Orla Collarless Wool Coat for £40. These duster kind of coats are so unbelievably warm and on trend at the same time. They can look great with a pair of jeans and a scarf on a day out but also with a dress and heels on a night out. This coat is definitely one of my essentials.

Next is the Boutique Aura Mesh Grid Full Midi Skater Skirt for £20. I have one of this style of skirt already but I hardly wear it because it's not the kind of thing I'd wear on a night out clubbing. If I was going for a really nice meal or to a christmas party I would love to wear one of these skirts. I love the elegant look of them with heels and they really emphasise your waist which is always great. These are such a nice style of skirt to have in your wardrobe.

And lastly in another dress. It's the Ariel Boutique Lace Crochet Bodycon Dress for £30. I love the contrast between these two colours and how the lace pattern stands out against the dark background. The high neck is also suitable for me and the way the lace is around the waist makes the eyes drawn to their showing off your waist. This is also another dress that would be perfect for a christmas party!

Hope you liked my next wishlist, I have much more planned!

NEW VIDEO!! JustSarahsVlogs

I finally uploaded a new video onto my channel. The wifi here in my student house is awful but I'm going to try my hardest to make it better because m last video too about 600 minutes to upload so I had to leave it overnight.
The newest video is simply just an update of my time over the summer and a few little extra things that I haven't mentioned before. Here it is:

Hope you enjoy and keep your eyes peeled for more videos and posts coming soon!

Boohoo Wishlist #1!

So if you guys know me well, you'll know my all time favourite shop is Boohoo (online shop). So because I have no money I thought I'd do a wish list of all the things I want instead. I looked at the Boohoo Brands because they kind of put everything together into similar things so if you're looking for something in particular it really helps.
So the first Brand is called Boohoo Blue and no it's not all blue clothes like I assumed! There is lots of denim and most of the clothes are very tom-boy-ish which is my style all over. This is my favourite brand ever!
The first item is a checkered shirt. Every girl needs a shirt like this in their lives. It's so versatile, and you can pretty much wear it with anything. I mainly wear mine with jeans or tucked into a cute skirt, but also wrapped around a dress to add some extra edge. This shirt is the Fiona Oversized Longline Checked Shirt which is a great steal at £15. Also very good for Autumn/Winter to layer up over your clothes.
Next is a pair of jeans. I'm absolutely in love with boyfriend jeans at the minute, especially the ones with huge rips in. These are the Gemma All Over Ripped 7/8th Jeans for £25. I've bought a pair of ripped jeans from Boohoo before and I absolutely love them! I sometimes wear them casual with a simple t-shirt and converse or you can dress it up with a nice cropped top and a pair of boots or heels.
Next is a denim jacket which I think are perfect for Autumn because it's a jacket but you don't need much of the warmth, unless you live up North like me! This is the Mia Oversize Boyfriend Denim Jacket for £25. This can be worn with anything and it's not just for Autumn, this jacket can be worn all year round with pants in Winter and dresses in Summer.
The next is a denim skirt that have become very big this year. I currently own a black one that I wear with so many things. I can wear it casually for my lectures but I also wear it when I go out at night. This one is the Elise Denim Button Through Mini Mid Blue Skirt for £15. Again it can easily be dressed up or dressed down so I think this is an essential.
And finally is a shirt dress which have become so popular recently. They're lightweight and easy to wear with anything. You can go casual with leggings or jeans underneath but they're also so easy to wear on a night out too. This is the Sophia Stripe Shirt Dress for £20. But these dresses are so popular now you'll be able to find any style that you want pretty much anywhere. I highly recommend having one of these in your wardrobe!
So that's all the clothes from that particular brand on Boohoo that I would want to get, too bad I'm a pretty poor student. This is just the first installation of this, so I will be doing other brands too in the future so look forward to that!
Stay Happy,
Sarah

Hello Again...

So it's been a while. The last thing I posted was that I was going working abroad for 3 months, and I apologise that you never heard from me again!
If you follow me on any of my social media you'll see the huge adventure that I went on. Even when I was writing that last blog post I think deep down I didn't think I'd stay the whole summer and sometimes I didn't even want to.
This summer has literally included some of the best and the worst times of my life, but my gosh it was the best experience for me so far!
I wrote a diary everyday about my whole experience and it's literally filled my whole book but it's really nice to read now when I get the chance.
I was so nervous about the flight there because I've never flown on my own before. It was an afternoon flight so my mum and best friend drove me to the airport and luckily I didn't cry which was good! Luckily I sailed through check-in and security and finally I was on the other side on my own. I went to Burger King for food and luckily a new episode of Pretty Little Liars was out so I watched that to pass the time. I then just sat and waited for my plane to come in, watching Mrs Brown's Boys on my new tablet that I'd bought, the Hudl 2 from Tesco. The show really got me through that, and I watched it on the flight too because it always makes me laugh. I was sat next to a lovely couple though so I felt a lot better. The flight time to Mallorca is only about two hours and twenty minutes so I just occupied myself. Then I realised my suitcase wheels were broke when I collected it and it was so heavy that I ended up dragging it through the airport trying to find my transfer. Luckily I was the only one on the minibus so it took me straight to Alcudia, where I was working. All the boys I was working with came to meet me so that was nice and I met the lovely owners too. They showed me where I was staying and obviously it wasn't the nicest flat in the world but it did for the summer, I had everything I needed to live.
The boys had to go to work so I went with them as they kind of showed me what my job was going to be. I then met up with my friends that I'd made who worked in the hotel I stayed at when I was on holiday and stayed at one of their flats because I was exhausted from my flight.

The next few days were kind of a blur to me. I did my first real shift which really freaked me out. I think everything kind of hit me at once, that I was alone in this place with all these people I didn't know. The boys made me feel right at home though, staying with me when I was upset and obviously my mum was always on the other side of the phone. But the first week was one of the worst. I wasn't eating properly, maybe a mixture of the heat and also my anxiety, so I felt sick all the time. And my sleeping pattern was messed up too because now I was working 8pm til 5am so I slept most of the day. I tried to get out as much as I could during the day but the boys always slept in so I had to just do my own thing.
It did take a long time but I actually started enjoying it. The nights were so much fun because colleges and universities had just finished so there were a lot of people my age on group holidays there so I made loads of friends which a few I still speak to. I got closer to the people I was working with too, especially the bartenders girlfriend Karen, who also lived with us. She was the only other girl around and it was so nice having her there. We also had a new girl coming over to work there called Emi.

But it all went back the night that she came. Karen worked in a restaurant for some of her summer so after she finished she'd go back to our flat, get changed and then come to The Prince Of Wales to wait for her boyfriend, Ash, to finish. So she noticed someone on our balcony and thought it was Liam, the guy who was off that night, so went up looking for him but found no-one so thought nothing of it. So she got ready then came down and asked Liam about seeing him but he said that he hadn't been to the flat. So a few of the boys went to the flat and saw that we'd been broken into. Various things were stolen including a PS4, phones, money, my tablet and iPod were taken. We were all distraught and then Emi showed up and we had to tell her all this. The next night was my night off so the guys hid the rest of their things in Ash and Karen's room because it had a lock on and went to work. I stayed at a friends flat that night and when I woke up I had millions of missed calls and texts saying we'd been broken into again. So I rushed home, not being able to get hold of anyone, and saw there was no-one in the flat. All the windows and balcony was open and all the lights were still turned on. I freaked out a bit, packed a bag of stuff and went to my old hotel to wait to hear from someone. Eventually I heard from Emi and they'd gone back and Karen and Ash's door was kicked down and literally everything was taken. They'd all stayed at the flat above where we worked instead. That really caused tension between us, one person quitting over it. It affected us all quite a lot but we got on with it. We got locks on literally everything so no-one could possibly even get in this time.

The owners were great though and helped us always in every way possible. I got on really well with them because they'd come and help if it was busy or just sit and chat if it wasn't. They had millions of incredible stories that I loved sitting and listening to.

Emi left about a week after that though so I was back to doing stuff on my own again. But luckily I contacted my best friend who was supposed to fly out with me in the beginning but never did to see if she still wanted the job and she booked a flight. Before she came I was so ready to come home, I'd had enough and it was all just too much for me. But with Alex coming I knew I'd be able to get through it. So I agreed to stay the whole three months instead. Along with Alex came another girl too from Essex that we got on really well with so we became like a power group. We did more stuff in the day, beach and pool days, we hired a pedalo too which was a great day.
Food was hard though because we were just eating rubbish most days because we only woke up about 1/2 so missed most meals. Whatever I did eat couldn't have been good for. At the end too we all managed to get a horrible cold and if you've never had a cold abroad before, I can tell you they're not fun. I was sniffling and coughing all the time, was tired, felt ill, it was really grim. To be honest I still don't think I've fully recovered, even when I got back I think everything just hit me at once.

There was also this group of people that just caused trouble every single night they came to the Prince. They caused arguments and fights and one of them was the cause of the biggest panic attack I've ever had. They hit someone right in front of me and I don't know what it was but it just set me off. I ended up sitting on the edge of the canal as it absolutely thrashed it down with a storm. I just couldn't calm down until Alex came to the rescue because she knows how to deal with me when I'm like that. It just wasn't a good night overall.

But it wasn't all bad! I had way more good days than bad. I had one amazing day where we went to a place called Bonaire to go cliff diving. So we just chilled on the rocks and then when we jumped in it was scarier than I thought. I'm not really one to do this anyway but I thought the drop was smaller than it actually was so it's a weird sensation when you think you'll hit the water but you actually don't. All the sea water went up my nose too which wasn't fun. But we bought some goggles and I bought a case for my phone that you can use in water and we got some amazing pictures and shots. There were fish everywhere and even when Alex claimed she saw a jellyfish we didn't believe her, but we really should've. I was sat on a rock with my legs and belly underwater and I felt a really bad pain on the back of my calf but I thought I'd just scraped it along the rock. Turns out I actually did get stung by a jellyfish because it really flared up and was so painfully itchy! But was still an experience and it didn't ruin my day either.

That day my parents and brother also flew out for a holiday which I was so excited for because I hadn't seen them in nearly 3 months! My bosses were also nice enough to let me off work whilst they were here so I actually had a really nice holiday at the end of it with them. I flew home a few days after they left.

So no I didn't make loads of money working abroad, but I met some of the most amazing people and made some unforgettable memories. I got closer to my best friend and learned some life lessons that have made me such a better person. I feel like I've come out of my shell a bit because I honestly didn't think I was the type of person who does this kind of thing, and neither did my friends and family. But they're so proud of me and most importantly I'm proud of myself. I could've come home after that first awful week, and had a rubbish summer working a job I didn't enjoy with horrible weather. Instead I stuck it out and didn't give up, even though sometimes I wanted to.
I'm so glad I stuck to it because I would've just remembered it as an awful week abroad but I feel like I can accomplish much more things after doing it. I've learnt to take chances and do things way out of your comfort zone.

So I know this has been super long but I really want to be able to remember this forever. I filmed a few things too so when I've edited all that together I'll definitely put a link somewhere in here.
Thank you for being so patient with my blog, there's more to come! I'm also getting a new camera this weekend so there will be much more YouTube videos to come too!!

Most importantly Stay Happy

My Mad Anxiety Diary #3

Well hello to all the people that still read this bad attempt at a blog. I'm so sorry about how awful I've been about posting new blogs and even YouTube videos but a lot has happened since my last blog post.
I finished my first year of uni which was an incredible experience and although I was really sad about moving out of halls I'm excited to start my second year and move into a house next year.
So two weeks ago I went on another girls holiday to Alcudia in Majorca. This one was going to be more chilled than Zante last year as its not really a big party place. But I had such an amazing time! I went with 6 of my best friends and stayed in one apartment. We also made friends with the children's entertainers as they were all our age. They invited us out on nights out and we realised it's a lot more lively than we thought it was going to be. There are clubs and bars that we went out too and even though it was supposed to be a relaxed holiday all my friends got pretty drunk most nights. But whilst I panicked a lot about things like that in Zante, they didn't phase me at all this time. I enjoyed myself so much and met loads of amazing people. I did have a few times when I felt anxious but I got over them quickly.
Anyway this isn't why I'm starting up this series again. Whilst I was on holiday me and my friend were offered a summer job working in our favourite bar. At first we thought they weren't being serious but then believed everything after me and my friend spoke to the owner of the bar. He told us to go home and think it over properly and then to get in contact with him. I was all up for it, I did have commitments over the summer but I could always change them around whereas my friend had an actual job so in the end decided that she couldn't come. So that was when I had to decide whether I wanted to go on my own. The owner was lovely and told me everything I needed to know and said she would still take me on my own.
So I have decided to travel all the way back to Alcudia, tomorrow, for just under 3 months to work in a bar called Prince of Wales. I love all the people I'll be working with and I'll also be able to see the people I made friends with from my hotel I stayed at. Even though I don't get paid that much, I'm not really doing it for the money, I get free accommodation and will be working most nights anyway.
I'm so excited but at the same time extremely anxious, mostly just about flying all the way there on my own which I've never done before. I'm positive I'm going to be fine though and settle in as soon as I get there I just wanted this series to be somewhere to write again if I feel the need to.
So wish me luck in my travels and I cant wait to get started!
Stay happy,
Sarah

Spring Lookbook

So after quite a while with no videos I finally filmed and uploaded a new one!! I absolutely love lookbooks, they're my favourite thing to film and also watch on YouTube. So I decided to do 3 spring outfits for the upcoming sunny months.
Here in England it's been warmer than usual so that's made me want to dig out the shorts and sunglasses so if it's not that warm where you are yet you could always put jackets or tights on with these outfits.
I thought I would go through my different outfits and where I got my clothes from and stuff in my blog instead of on YouTube so I can explain better.

Outfit 1- Casual

So for this first outfit all of the clothing is from New Look. A lot of the clothes in this are from New Look because there's a store at home and also where I live at uni, so I buy most of my new clothes from there.
The top is an off the shoulder one, which is a style I've always loved! I think it's a nice change to just an ordinary top and a bit more spring/summery because it shows off your shoulders. I didn't think I would like the stripes as much as I do, as I bought a second top like this (2 for £12) which was black but I still wear this one more.
The jeans I got on offer at New Look, I think they were only £7. They didn't originally have the cuts in the knees, I did them myself but I think it just makes them look a bit different and edgier.
And finally the shoes are my favourite things. I wear them most days because they are one of the comfiest pair of shoes I've ever owned. They also match all of my wardrobe which is handy and I love the 'Timbaland' feel of them even though I payed way less. They're pretty worn now but I think it makes them look a lot better.

Outfit 2- Spring Playsuit

This playsuit has become one of my new favourite outfits, I love everything about it. I think the pattern is very summery, whilst also being my favourite colour black. And the fit of the playsuit is great, with a tight upper half and then flippy shorts for the bottoms. I really like the top of the playsuit too and how it ties round my neck because I try not to show my chest off the best I can. And I just think the back is really pretty too. And the best part is that this was only £12 from Forever21 which I think is a bargain. I'll definitely be getting my money worth from this outfit.
The shoes from New Look I've had for a while now and I think they're great. I don't like wearing really big heels as I'm tall enough as it is so these are good because the heel isn't huge and I don't end up towering over my friends. They're also really comfy, and can wear these all night with no problems.
And finally I can't wait to wear this hat more often over spring and summer. It was a bargain from Primark and it just reminds me of sunhats that you wear on holiday or something you could wear to a festival.

Outfit 3-

And the top in this outfit is actually new, this was the first time I'd worn it. I'd seen them in pictures online for ages and always wanted one of the tops with the slits up the sides. I think they look great with shorts underneath or even leggings in the colder weather. They just scream festival fashion so that's why I bought this one from New Look.
The shorts are from George at Asda, which is an English supermarket but I so love some of the clothes from George. These are white denim with small buttons on the sides and I think they match this top pretty well.
And finally the shoes are another pair that I wear daily. I usually wear these on a night out if I'm not wearing heels because they're a bit high but also extremely comfortable. I think they'll be great again for spring and summer when the weather stays nice.

Lastly my sunglasses that I wear with these outfits are from Afflecks which is a collection of shops in Manchester. These are the first round sunglasses I've bought but I love this style and will definitely be buying more like this.
My earrings are just a simple set of silver hoops from Dorothy Perkins I think which I wear almost daily too.
And my watch is also from Asda and I just like the plainness of it because it's just simple black and gold with a leather strap. It was also a bargain at only £8.

So that's all of my outfits for the lookbook. If you haven't seen it yet you can check it out here.
I hope you enjoyed it and I can't wait to get back to the weekly videos again!

Also a huge thanks to Serena over at Serena's Life who helped me shoot the whole thing and take all these great pictures! Go check her page out!

As always stay happy,
Sarah

I'M BACK! LIFE UPDATE

My only excuse this time is university work, which I didn't realise was going to take over my time so much!
So what have I actually been doing for a month you might ask?
Well for my course I've had essays and stories to write that took more time than I expected them to. I've also had to plan and film a short film that took up a lot of my time too. And excitedly I also starred in another groups short film, which I've never done before and it went really well!

But the boring stuff out of the way, I've also got addicted to Netflix... I was kind of late to the party but I finally got it and it was a bad idea, I should've just waited til summer! Currently I'm in the middle of the third season of Pretty Little Liars and I love it! I pretty much have girl crushes on all the girls and actual crushes on the guys! I already do know who 'A' is (or at least the name) because of stupid spoilers but I still can't wait to catch up to date properly. There's also so much I want to watch on there, it's just having the time to.

Another project I've taken an interest in is a new group we created called HyperNation. It's a group of people from my university and basically we're a media platform- we will be creating music videos for local bands, create short films and plan and carry out events in nightclubs locally for now. It's something we're all very passionate about and things are getting started for us right now. If you want to check it out here's the social links:

I've also got new video ideas that I'm planning to get up and running very soon so keep an eye on my YouTube channel Just Sarah's Vlogs for new videos soon!!

Also keep up to date with what I'm doing on all my social media pages:

As always,
Stay Happy!

Boohoo Wishlist!

As you all know one of my favourite clothing stores/online stores is definitely Boohoo.com and I recently booked a girls holiday for the summer so my thoughts immediately went to summer fashion and I got really excited. So I thought I'd share with you guys my fashion inspiration for this summer.

First is the long floaty dress because I'm obsessed with these right now. I actually already bought one like this in the middle of winter so I think that's a definite problem with me. I think these would look perfect at a barbecue or even more perfect on a beach. This particular dress is the Sofia Grey Print Wide Sleeve Woven Maxi Dress which is £25. I like the fact that the sleeves and bottom of the dress are sheer, so I wouldn't be too hot in them really.

The next one along is the the white lace shirt, although I do love the shorts too, I'm just not sure what they are but I think the shirt matches well. It's the Natasha Organza Lace Shoulder Panel Oversized Shirt which is £20. I've really been loving shirts lately, baggy thin ones that would be perfect for the summer weather and for holidays.

Next is a bikini that I've absolutely fallen in love with. It's the Hawaii Push Up Tropical Print Long Line Bikini which is also £20. I love the colour and print of this bikini because it's bright and summery. I also love that it's a high waisted bikini bottoms because I think they're more elegant although it's not the best if you're looking to tan as you'll have a high line on your belly. Another thing that makes this perfect is that it's a push up bra because I'm not that comfortable with my chest but I think this would make me more confident whilst on holiday.

Lastly on the top line is a bracelet/ring. It's the Renee Floral Gem Hand Harness which is only £5. I really liked this pretty floral harness and can imagine myself wearing it for a meal out when I go on holiday. I really want to start wearing more jewellery this summer and I've been loving the boho style gold and silver jewellery.

First on the bottom line are the Rach Round Frame Sunglasses which are only £8. I feel in love with rounded frame glasses last year and so I've been looking for another pair for the summer this year too. I like these from Boohoo because they're quite different with the line going through the top. I'd love to get these or maybe some that have a thicker rim because I think they suit me better.

Next is the Lara Fringed Tassel Rucksack which is only £18. I can imagine having this at a festival this year because of the fun tassels and the practicality of having a back pack at a festival. I think a back pack would be good on holiday too if I'm going for a day out or to the beach and just for summer in general. It looks big enough to fit a lot of things in too.

Next is the Eliza Mock Croc Ankle Strap Peep-Toe Block Heels which are £30. I've been looking for some of these heels for so long. I wanted some with a block heel that weren't too high for when I went out cause I'm tall enough as is it! I also love the buckle on the ankle strap because then they will stay on my feet when I'm dancing.

And lastly is a dress that I'm not sure how it'll look on me but I love how it looks on the model. It's the Mariah Woven Short Sleeve Column Maxi Dress and it's only £15. I think this would look really nice for a barbeque or something like that with a nice pair of boots. I think it would also look great at a festival with a nice pair of combat boots and a ruck sack.

All of these things got me so excited for summer/holiday/festival and I can't wait to be able to buy all these clothes and can't wait for the sun to start shining again!

Which of these is your favourite?

Stay Happy
Sarah

I'M GONNA BE ON TV!!

So a few weeks ago I got contacted by a woman from 4Music and she asked me if I wanted to send in a question to the artist Charli XCX. I've always loved her music and it's her music videos that catch my eye the most.
So I decided to ask her about her inspiration for her music videos. I sent my video in and then I got told they'd get back to me when they knew it would be aired.
I got the email back yesterday that it would be up on the 4Music YouTube channel today at some point so I'm not even gonna lie, I was on it all day waiting for it to come on! And it finally did!!
If you want to watch me ask Charli XCX a question check out the video here!!

I'm the second person to ask a question just in case you were wondering and not to brag but Charli says that she likes me (so we're basically best friends!)
I'm so chuffed to be on this and even more amazingly it's going to be aired on TV on Monday!
It'll be on the 4Music TV Channel at 4pm on Monday 2nd March and I can't wait!
I have to thank Grivas from 4Music to help me through this and be so co-operative with me.
So if you're free then or would like to check out the YouTube video it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you very much

Walk to the Woods

So me at Serena over at Serena's Life took a cute little walk into the woods. This is Ruff Woods which is about a 2 minute walk from our flat and it's so pretty. It's extremely peaceful as it's away from all the traffic and city life, just with the occasional dog walker wandering past. Most of these pictures are taken by Serena but I just thought I'd show you how pretty it is.

My outfit consists of my cherished Miss Guided duster coat, New Look boots and a hat that's actually from eBay for only £5! I'm all about those bargains.

I also filmed my Autumn Lookbook in these woods and loved it so will definitely be filming more here when the weather is a bit warmer!

Hope you like this post,

John Green Madness!!

Recently I got a gift card for WHSmith for £15 and its bad how excited I got that I could buy new books. I had loads to choose from but when I got there I saw that all John Green books were on offer as buy one get one free so I knew I had to get them. I also had a £5 off your next shop for there too so in the end I only paid £4 of my own money for all four of these books.
I'd wanted these books for ages and so now I finally have them to read.
The first one is An Abundance Of Katherines and this is the blurb:
When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton's type is girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. On a road trip miles from home, this anagram-happy, washed-up child prodigy has ten thousand dollars in his pocket, a bloodthirsty feral hog on his trail, and an overweight Judge Judy - loving best friend riding shotgun - but no Katherines. Colin is on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which he hopes will predict the future of any relationship, avenge Dumpees everywhere, and finally win him the girl.
I think this book will be interesting because I've never heard anything like this before and I think it's a different story. Also it's written from a guys point of view which is different to my usual reading genre.

Next is Looking For Alaska:
“In the dark beside me, she smelled of sweat and sunshine and vanilla and on that thin-mooned night I could see little more than her silhouette, but even in the dark, I could see her eyes – fierce emeralds. And not just beautiful, but hot too.”
BEFORE. Miles Halter’s whole life has been one big non-event until he starts at anything-but-boring Culver Creek Boarding School and meets Alaska Young. Gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, screwed up and utterly fascinating she pulls Miles into her world, launches him into a new life, and steals his heart. But when tragedy strikes, and Miles comes face-to-face with death he discovers the value of living and loving unconditionally.
AFTER: Nothing will ever be the same.
I think the fact that it says 'when tragedy strikes' makes me want to read this book because I want to know what happens. A good sign of a cliffhanger.
Next is Will Grayson, Will Grayson:
One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, Will Grayson crosses paths with . . . Will Grayson. Two guys with the same name, running in two very different circles, suddenly find their lives going in new and unexpected directions, and culminating in epic turns-of-heart and the most fabulous musical ever to grace the high-school stage.
I think this is one of the books I'm most excited for. I'm not sure why but I just think it's a good idea for a story and can't wait to read it.
And lastly is Paper Towns:
Quentin Jacobsen has always loved Margo Roth Spiegelman, for Margo (and her adventures) are the stuff of legend at their high school. So when she one day climbs through his window and summons him on an all-night road trip of revenge he cannot help but follow.
But the next day Margo doesn't come to school and a week later she is still missing. Q soon learns that there are clues in her disappearance . . . and they are for him. But as he gets deeper into the mystery - culminating in another awesome road trip across America - he becomes less sure of who and what he is looking for.
The reason I got this one was because I knew that they were turning it into a film with Cara Delevigne and Nat Wolff and I'm so excited for the film so I wanted to read the book first. I've started reading this and I'm really enjoying it already.

I'm really excited to get through all of these books because I loved the Fault In Our Stars and I love John Green's writing style.
Let me know if you've read any of his books but obviously don't tell me any spoilers because I haven't read them yet!!

Boohoo Haul!

I've been very naughty lately and did a huge Boohoo Haul with my christmas money. But I did get a lot of bargains in the process!
I did a video here where I show you what all the clothes look like on and I'll explain them here in this blog post!

The first dress is the Hannah Printed Off The shoulder Dress. I love the fact that this is off the shoulder, a few of the clothes in this haul are. I also usually buy just simply plain black clothes but this time I wanted to go for something different so I chose this patterned one. It was also only £8 instead of £15 so it was a good purchase.

The next was another off the shoulder dress, the Rita Off The Shoulder Bodycon Dress. It's similar to the first dress but it's a lot tighter on the body instead, making it a less casual dress. I also got it in black because that's pretty much all I wear! This was only £10 but I think it's a great staple piece to have in your wardrobe.

Next is one of my favourites, the Kendall Cage Sleeve Detail Dress. I would never normally buy a long sleeved dress but I love the cut outs on the sleeves. It's not a tight dress which I like too because it makes it more casual. This was only £15 too and I'd wanted it for ages so I finally bought it for myself.

The next is very different from my usual taste. I'm never one for bold prints because my hair is quite fussy so I thought it wouldn't suit but I took a chance. The love the fact that it has open sleeves too because it just makes the dress more interesting. This is the Callie Open Shoulder Floral Shift Dress and it's only £6 instead of £15 which is a big bargain.

This is also a very different pattern again for the same reason as it being too fussy but I really like this one. I love the mesh detail on the sides of the shorts and the tie around the waist because I think it gives me more shape. It's quite low down which is something I'd never usually buy but I thought I'd give it a chance and it doesn't look too bad. This playsuit is the Elissia Neon Floral Mesh Insert Tie Waist Playsuit and it was a huge bargain at only £5!

This playsuit is one of my favourite purchases of this haul. It's so plain and simple but I love it. The shorts are flippy and the cut of the playsuit is really flattering. It's the Ashleigh Turtle Neck Cap Sleeved Playsuit and it was only £8. I also decided to choose the berry colour for a change instead of the normal black.

This is dress was just for casual nights out as it's plain but still a bodycon. It's just a simple black dress but with a curved hem line which I think makes it just that little bit more interesting. It's the Taylor Curved Hem Roll Sleeved T-Shirt Dress and it was only £12. It comes in different colours but as always I chose black!

This dress is so out of my comfort zone it's unreal! For one, again it's patterned which I usually steer clear from but I just loved the shape of this dress. I must've been in a summer mood as I wouldn't wear this in the cold weather yet. I've fallen in love with this maxi dress though, which is a button down and also has huge splits up the sides. I can't wait to wear this dress in Spring/Summer. It's the Terri Paisley Button Through Maxi Dress.

The first pair of shorts I got were also something I'd never usually get. They're high waisted with kind of a geometric pattern on them. They're such a nice material and sit really well on my hips. They also fit in with my normal black and white theme. They are the Gail Grid Print Chiffon Skater Short and they were only £10 which I think is a bargain.

Lastly is this pair of flippy shorts that I think are quite casual so I've been wearing them to my lectures with tights alot but you could also wear them with a cropped top on a night out. They're also that lovely berry colour. They're the Ruby Plain Flippy Culottes and they were only £6 which I think is a massive bargain, I might even get more in the future in different colours.

So I hope you enjoyed this haul of Boohoo clothes. I don't think I'll be buying much now, my student loan is dwindling significantly. Thanks for watching/reading and don't forget to check the video out for this post!

I GOT A TATTOO!

So it's been a while but quick update, I got a tattoo!
For anyone that knows me well knows that I've wanted a tattoo for ages but just not known what to get. At one point I wanted a dreamcatcher or something to do with travelling but I never put my mind to it. But I soon found a design that I fell in love with and they're called Mandala's. Wikipedia describes them as a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the Universe and I do love that explanation. To be honest I just loved the designs but from doing research I've found loads of different meanings to them.
Here are some examples I looked at:

I absolutely fell in love with these designs. I think they're really pretty and I love the symmetry of them all. The last one was my favourite and I'd decided that I wanted it on my forearm. I wasn't sure how it would look though because I have super skinny arms so didn't know if it would look too thick or stupid but I tried anyways.
I got my friend to draw up what I wanted, with elements from all the different pictures that I liked and this is what she came up with.

I absolutely fell in love with it straight away. She then proceeded to draw it on my arm so that I knew what it would like... in pen... that didn't come off for days.

Obviously it wasn't the perfect drawing but I decided that that was what I wanted to get. So my friend drew it up again and that was what I sent to the tattoo artist.
I went to Two Dogs in Earlstown because two of my friends had been there and highly recommended it. So I messaged them and asked when the earliest I could get an appointment for and luckily they fit me in about 10 days later on the 31st Jan. They said it would take 2 hours and cost me £100 which I thought was very reasonable for the detail going into it. So I agreed and asked them to redraw it properly, just without the thick line around the outside and then waited until it was time.

On the day I was so nervous because I didn't know how I would react to getting a tattoo. They welcomed me with open arms and made me comfortable before they started. She transferred it onto my arm and then made sure I was fine with starting. I'm not going to lie but it did really hurt (I didn't cry) and obviously some lines hurt more than others, but it was so worth it. It did take just under two hours but the time flew by.

And she also put white ink in the middle dots so that they stood out more.
She then wrapped it up and I didn't touch it for a few hours.
I also made sure I had some cream for it as I had to clean it with warm soapy water and then out cream on it. We bought Bepanthen which is just for nappy care because it was recommended.

So I cleaned it and then put the cream on but it wasn't too sore, just when I touched it. Didn't stop me going out either!

Here is a picture of me with a funny arm because I was trying to show it off. The dress is new from Boohoo (haul coming soon) and the boots are from New Look.

So this is the finished look
I love the detail of it so much and I've had nothing but compliments off my friends and family, even my grandparents who weren't too keen in me having a tattoo in the first place.
I found this picture on Pinterest that describes what a Mandala means to me and I know that when I look down at it, it's what I'll see.
I think the first three are more relevant to me than the others but that's what I'll think everytime I look down at it. And it's also unbelievably pretty!

Hope you all like this post, never really seen one like this before so I thought it would be interesting.
Also hope you guys love my tattoo as much as me because I'm hoping to get more in the future, addicted maybe?

Thanks for reading,
