Hair Challenge- More Plaits!

So for my hair challenge today I've left it really simple again because I'm not in college today (hence the dressing gown and 1D t-shirt)
Last night I had a shower and washed my hair and then when I got out I brushed it and let it air dry a tiny bit until it was just damp. This way, if you have thick hair like me, then it will be dry in the morning. (Some times I wake up, and if it was too wet before I went to bed, I find my hair in the middle still wet)

I then just started French Plaiting my hair. Lots of practise makes perfect with this and I'm still not that good at it. Sometimes I get my mum to help me out :) But if you don't know how to French Plait you could look it up online or simply just do a normal plait with all your hair.

and then I go to sleep.
When I wake up, if I have college, I would normally take the plait out and leave my hair wavy but since I'm not going anywhere today I decided to leave it up because my hair and fringe is out of my face whilst I do work.

I think this is a really cute hair style and it's so easy to do too! and then when you take the plait out it's like a completely new hairstyle!

Hope you like it!

Hair Challenge- Plain and Simple

So today for my hair challenge I woke up pretty late and was unfortunately rushing so I couldn't really do an elaborate hairstyle but instead this one is one of the easiest hair styles I've ever done.
So it's simply a half up, half down hair do but instead of using a bobble, I've used a big clip.

For this I simply split half of my hair, leaving my fringe out (you could use bobby pins to secure your fringe a long with it) and gathered it behind my head with a big clip. And that's it.

I think this hairstyle is super casual, and I just wore it with a t-shirt and jeans. And it's so easy and quick to do, perfect for if you're late for work/college. I use it all the time!

Hope you liked this post and I'm super sorry about the iPhone camera quality, I think most of them will be taken on my phone :(

Hair Challenge- Plaited Fun

So this week I thought I would create my own challenge to have a different hairstyle for college every day this week. I did it a couple of weeks ago with different coloured eye shadows but I forgot to blog about it :(
Also these will be really easy hairstyles to do because I haven't got much time in the morning, so hopefully I can give you some tips on how to get this look!

So this first one I decided to bring back the plaited pigtails. I'm really into plaits this season and I sometimes put plaits in my hair after a shower to make my hair wavy when I can't be bothered doing anything else!

So this morning I woke up with naturally crazy wavy hair, so I brushed it slightly and split my hair down the middle. I then lightly started plaiting either side of my hair, not really caring if I missed a couple of bits. Once I'd got both my plaits I pulled out my fringe and then some short parts surrounding my face. I then curled them a tiny bit with my straighteners and curled my fringe away from my face to keep it out of my eyes.

Then I was done. I just pulled my plaits slightly to make them look more messy and more loose.

To vary this look you could backcomb your roots to give it a messier look or even use a cute flower headband to keep your fringe out of your eyes.
I love this look and I'll definitely be doing this again for college!

(Sorry for the bad quality pictures, it's from my iPhone)

Hope you like this new kind of post and I can't wait to do more all week!

Jelly Shoes!!

Okay so I'm just going to jump right in with these shoes because I'm too excited to even keep it in!
I saw this trend a few weeks back and I fell in love with them immediately! But when I looked then up I found out they were about £25 which is a little steep for me for a pair of rubber shoes haha
So I went hunting and managed to find some for £13 on eBay! (I'll put all the links below)
And I ordered them on Wednesday night and they came today!

So obviously these aren't the real Juju Jellies but they were inspired by them and to be honest except from the logo that would've been on the shoes, they look extremely similar.
So these are just plain black with a really small heel and cut outs in the sides. They also have a cute little buckle to keep them on your feet.

They bring back so much from my childhood because I used to have a pair of little cute pink ones and I loved them so much! These shoes are literally perfect for summer, and you could also wear them with tights or a pair of really cute socks if it's still chilly outside.
I think these are so on trend at the minute and over the summer they're going to become more and more popular!
So if you want the link for the actual shoes you'll find it here
And the official Juju Jellies website is here

Mini Haul

So this is just a mini haul of the things I've bought over the past few weeks.
Some of them I've used and I might do a proper review soon.

So I needed a foundation that I could wear on a night out that was thicker than my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. This one got recommended to me and it's the Revlon Colorstay 24hrs foundation. So far I've loved this foundation because I got it on offer and it does amazing things for my skin! I'll probably do a full review of it soon.

My previous post is about this primer. It's the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser/primer and it's my first primer I've owned so I can't really compare but I love the effect that this has on my skin. It really does erase my pores and helps my foundation glide on my skin and makes it stay all day.

I bought this new MUA blush because I wanted to try out different blush shades and this one is so inexpensive. This is in the colour Bon Bon and it's a pale pink colour. I love MUA blushes because the colour is so pigmented and they're a great value for money.

If you've ever seen any pictures of me before then you'll know I have quite thick and dark eyebrows but recently I've been doing them a bit thinner. I also used eyeshadow to see what it would look like to have them filled in and it makes such a difference! So I invested in this L'oreal Super Liner which has an eye brow brush, brown pencil, and then a wax fixer on the other end. I haven't used this yet but I can't wait to try it out.

I also finally got this Collection Lasting Perfection concealer that everyone goes on about. I needed a new concealer so I decided to give this one a try and see if I like it as much as everyone else.

I'm also new to this product which is gel eyeliner. I've only just mastered the liquid eyeliner to a good standard so I was also scared that I'd be really bad at this (I don't have a very steady hand) but I'm excited to try this out too.

I also bought this new brush. It's the Real Techniques sponge that you can use for foundation, concealer, powder and even blush. I'm trying to add to my collection of applicators so this makes a nice change to normal foundation brushes.

I also bought a new pair of jeans from Forever 21. I don't usually shop in there but when I went in I literally wanted everything in the shop. These are a skinny, distressed look jean, and they weren't expensive at all. I haven't stopped wearing them since!

I found this dress in a charity shop in town because I need a long dress for a shoot that I'm doing tomorrow. This dress feels so soft and it's such a lovely prom dress and it was only £10! A real bargain because I can use it in more than one shoot.

This is the lovely detailing on the top.

I also spent up in Lush too. I don't usually have baths that often but when I do I love to have nice smelling things. I bought this purple one which is the Phoenix Rising Bath Ballistic. It has little gold bits in too that I'm excited to see what it turns out like.

I also bought this pale pink one which I have no idea what it's called but it smells a lot like the Bubblegum Lip Scrub and I'm in love with that so I decided to get this! I can't wait to use it.

So that was just a small haul of what I've bought recently.
Do you have any of these products? If so what do you think of them?
