Mini Haul

So a few days ago I went into Manchester, mostly to watch the new Romeo and Juliet, but I'd also just been payed so I did some cheeky shopping too!
This denim pinafore dress is from Primark and I saw that they were clearing them out. I've wanted a dress like this for ages and haven't found one that I like but I loved this! The straps are leather look and it has little gold studs too. I thought this dress was a bargain for just £5, you can wear it with cropped tops for going out or a t-shirt for casual or even a nice jumper underneath for an Autumnal look.

I saw this cropped top to match the dress above and tried them on together. The fabric is really thin which is great for me because I get too hot pretty easily, so this is perfect. It's also long sleeved too which will keep my arms warm in college. This cropped top was only £5 too so it was a bargain and I've always wanted a long sleeved cropped top.
These leggings were from a place called Shout in Manchester which is one of my favourite shops. They always have amazing things that are really cheap! I love the tartan pattern this year and these leggings were just shouting out at me. I know that they're pretty bright but they are a staple piece that I will just wear with a plain top and shoes. These were only £5 too!

This top is from Shout too. I've been looking for one of these tops with the almost spaghetti straps for ages and I finally found this one. Another plus with this top is that it's velvet and matches well with a lot of my leggings. This would be nice for something like a casual party. It was only £7!

I'd run out of my mascara so I needed a new one. My last one was the Scandal Eyes Retro Glam mascara. I did like this mascara but I don't think it's the best one I've had. I decided to go back to my old favourite with the Maybelline Falsies. This mascara isn't over expensive and I love the brush! I think I managed to find it for £6.

I wasn't particularly looking for anything in Topshop because I didn't have that much money left but when I saw this scrunchie I knew I had to buy it. It's a dark green velvet scrunchie with a small bow that has wire inside so you can manipulate it any way you want. I love this and will mostly use it when I put half my hair up. This was £4 from Topshop

I decided to buy some tights because it's now becoming colder. I needed a normal pair and then I saw these cute grey winter ones that are thicker. Hopefully I will get the chance to wear them in winter soon. I think these were £2.50/£3 from Primark.

I also bought some midi rings from Primark. These were only £1.50 and you get eight rings. I got these ones because they are all different colours and you can wear different ones with different outifts. There's silver, gold, rose gold and a dark grey that I was already wearing! I think these look pretty and aren't expensive.

Less interestingly I bought these hair clips for when I want to only put half my hair up. These were from Primark and I can't remember how much they were but I think they were under £2.

And finally from Primark I never fail to buy some new underwear. The top pair I bought because of the mint green colour that I'm obsessed with and the bottom are a cute purple colour with light pink detailing. I think these were about £1.70 each or something like that.

So that was just a small haul of the things I bought. Hopefully I will do more winter shopping soon because I'm looking for the perfect winter jumper. If anyone knows any nice ones, let me know!

Holiday Haul

On Tuesday I'm going away for two weeks so I've been saving up my money to buy some essentials to take away. I went to Primark and Shout in Manchester.
From Primark I only really went in for some things that I needed.

I really needed a new make-up bag so when I saw these perfect sized ones I had to get one. They were all in different colours but I grabbed this coral bag (£3.00).
I also picked up some handy tissues that were only 60p because my hayfever was pretty bad.
I also got a new purse because I'd been looking for one that could hold all my cards in. I love this plain brown purse, and it fits everything in (£4.00)
Then I picked up a cropped boyfriend t-shirt. I wanted one of these that I could just wear over my bikini by the pool or on a day out. There were lots of different colours but I chose white because its nice and summery (£3.00)
Then I grabbed a new foundation brush. I normally use a No7 brush but it's falling apart because I use it so much so I bought this new one. It's pretty and it also has a concealer brush on the other end. The brushes are so soft and really good at blending. (£1.50)
The last thing I got is a pack of several earrings. I needed some more earrings that matched so I can keep changing them around. I like these earrings because they're really pretty and so inexpensive. (£2.50)
I also picked up some white socks to wear with my converse. (£2.00)

Then I went into a shop called Shout. I love this shop because they have really nice things but they aren't very expensive.

I bought this skirt that is ombred blue and it's so pretty. I'd been looking for a long skirt for ages and when I saw this I fell in love with it immediately. It's nice and flowy, and see through but with a short skirt underneath. (£7.00)
I also got this cropped top. I'd seen this top in Topshop but it was way too expensive so when I saw a version of it in Shout I picked it up straight away! It's so pretty with a see through lace back. (£5.00)

So that's all I bought, but it's all I needed really. I can't wait for my holiday but I'll hopefully still be able to post whilst I'm away.
Stay Happy

New video!

Hey guys!
So I filmed my first, talking to the camera, film yesterday. I filmed a haul video of what I've bought over the past month or so. I really didn't know how I would respond to talking to a camera, but after a few attempts I managed to do it and I actually enjoyed it.
I've also sorted out my YouTube videos, and this one took two and half hours to upload which I'm willing to wait as long as the quality of the video is good, which this one is, you can even watch it in HD!
I'm happy with this video but I had to cut it into two parts to make it shorter so part 2 should be on at some point tomorrow!
I hope you like it, and please like, comment, subscribe and all that jazz to see more soon!
Thanks for reading,

Hair!

Hey everyone!
So today I dyed my hair and I though I would share my experience with you and this is also a review for the Schwarzkopf Live Colour XXL hair dye.
Firstly I thought I'd tell you about the dye. It was £4.29 from Boots in Manchester and the colour I buy is 92 Pillar box Red. I dyed my hair red from a light brown a few months ago, and I loved it. The first time I did it was quite dark though so each time I've gotten a brighter shade. I started off with the brand Ferriar and did the two red shades in that brand. Then I changed to XXL which I used last time and also this time. I used this colour again because I was really happy with the results and the brightness of the colour.

To start I thought I'd show you what my hair looked like before I dyed it. This was my hair today, about six weeks after dying it the last time. The colour is semi-permanent so I didn't really expect anything different.

My roots were pretty bad but I'm quite tall so my theory was that no-one was really looking at the top of my head anyway :) I know now that it doesn't work like that.

The ends of my hair were also pretty bad, it looked like I'd dip-dyed my hair brunette with red at the top. So I needed to concentrate on them.

In the pack you get a pair of gloves, which usually have holes in (I recommend using your own, these plastic ones get on my nerves anyway), two packs of lovely smelling conditioner and the tube of colour.

So the instructions say to wash your hair lightly with shampoo but I just wet mine because I'd washed it the night before properly. I then put a towel round my shoulders (wearing old clothes) and got to work. The colour comes out the tube kind of like tomato puree, that's the best I can describe it. It doesn't smell bad either like some hair dyes that give me headaches, this one smells quite nice.
I started with the roots of my hair and then did the middle, making sure I got the back. I also did my fringe at this point too. And then I concentrated on the ends. I think I put the most on the ends because last time I didn't put enough on. Then with the rest of the colour I just touched it up and made sure everywhere was covered. I rubbed the dye in, making sure it covered all my hair and I left the dye on for thirty minutes and then washed it off.

I rinsed it thoroughly first, and then shampooed it, with my Pantene Colour Protect shampoo and then rinsed that. I then lathered it in the packet of lovely smelling conditioner and left it for about two minutes and then rinsed it all. I then added my heat protect serum, blow dried it and then straightened my fringe. And this was the result!

From these pictures it doesn't look that bright, that's just because of my crappy lighting but it looks better in person. I'm really happy with out it's turned out because you can never tell with hair dye what's going to happen. I'm also chuffed with the XXL colour because it's the brightness I want it. My hair feels so soft from the conditioner and looks in good condition too which is a bonus. There was no problems with the dye, except the gloves and that I would probably buy another box too, because my hair is quite thick and longish. But other than that its a perfect price, perfect colour and it's easy to apply! Highly Recommneded by me!

Thanks for reading,
Stay Happy,
Sarah

P.s. These are some better pictures of the colour of my hair. I'm also modelling my new headband I bought today. If you want to know where it's from and how much it was, follow and keep posted because I will be posting a haul video, including this headband! It was a great buy so keep your eyes peeled!

YouTube

Hey guys :)
So I know its been a few days but I've been really busy. My exams are coming up this week and I've been mad revising.
But yesterday I did manage to create my new YouTube channel.
Hopefully I will be posting new videos soon but bear with me, I might need to get my exams out of the way first.
Hopefully on this channel there will be all sorts of things going on. I plan on doing several challenges with other people, beauty and fashion tutorials and hauls, and other general everyday vlogs.
So if you're interested in any of that stuff then please subscribe because it would mean a lot to me and let me know what you think should be on my channel.
Sorry for such a short post and I promise they will get better soon,
Cya later,
