Spring Lookbook

So after quite a while with no videos I finally filmed and uploaded a new one!! I absolutely love lookbooks, they're my favourite thing to film and also watch on YouTube. So I decided to do 3 spring outfits for the upcoming sunny months.
Here in England it's been warmer than usual so that's made me want to dig out the shorts and sunglasses so if it's not that warm where you are yet you could always put jackets or tights on with these outfits.
I thought I would go through my different outfits and where I got my clothes from and stuff in my blog instead of on YouTube so I can explain better.

Outfit 1- Casual

So for this first outfit all of the clothing is from New Look. A lot of the clothes in this are from New Look because there's a store at home and also where I live at uni, so I buy most of my new clothes from there.
The top is an off the shoulder one, which is a style I've always loved! I think it's a nice change to just an ordinary top and a bit more spring/summery because it shows off your shoulders. I didn't think I would like the stripes as much as I do, as I bought a second top like this (2 for £12) which was black but I still wear this one more.
The jeans I got on offer at New Look, I think they were only £7. They didn't originally have the cuts in the knees, I did them myself but I think it just makes them look a bit different and edgier.
And finally the shoes are my favourite things. I wear them most days because they are one of the comfiest pair of shoes I've ever owned. They also match all of my wardrobe which is handy and I love the 'Timbaland' feel of them even though I payed way less. They're pretty worn now but I think it makes them look a lot better.

Outfit 2- Spring Playsuit

This playsuit has become one of my new favourite outfits, I love everything about it. I think the pattern is very summery, whilst also being my favourite colour black. And the fit of the playsuit is great, with a tight upper half and then flippy shorts for the bottoms. I really like the top of the playsuit too and how it ties round my neck because I try not to show my chest off the best I can. And I just think the back is really pretty too. And the best part is that this was only £12 from Forever21 which I think is a bargain. I'll definitely be getting my money worth from this outfit.
The shoes from New Look I've had for a while now and I think they're great. I don't like wearing really big heels as I'm tall enough as it is so these are good because the heel isn't huge and I don't end up towering over my friends. They're also really comfy, and can wear these all night with no problems.
And finally I can't wait to wear this hat more often over spring and summer. It was a bargain from Primark and it just reminds me of sunhats that you wear on holiday or something you could wear to a festival.

Outfit 3-

And the top in this outfit is actually new, this was the first time I'd worn it. I'd seen them in pictures online for ages and always wanted one of the tops with the slits up the sides. I think they look great with shorts underneath or even leggings in the colder weather. They just scream festival fashion so that's why I bought this one from New Look.
The shorts are from George at Asda, which is an English supermarket but I so love some of the clothes from George. These are white denim with small buttons on the sides and I think they match this top pretty well.
And finally the shoes are another pair that I wear daily. I usually wear these on a night out if I'm not wearing heels because they're a bit high but also extremely comfortable. I think they'll be great again for spring and summer when the weather stays nice.

Lastly my sunglasses that I wear with these outfits are from Afflecks which is a collection of shops in Manchester. These are the first round sunglasses I've bought but I love this style and will definitely be buying more like this.
My earrings are just a simple set of silver hoops from Dorothy Perkins I think which I wear almost daily too.
And my watch is also from Asda and I just like the plainness of it because it's just simple black and gold with a leather strap. It was also a bargain at only £8.

So that's all of my outfits for the lookbook. If you haven't seen it yet you can check it out here.
I hope you enjoyed it and I can't wait to get back to the weekly videos again!

Also a huge thanks to Serena over at Serena's Life who helped me shoot the whole thing and take all these great pictures! Go check her page out!

Boohoo Wishlist!

As you all know one of my favourite clothing stores/online stores is definitely Boohoo.com and I recently booked a girls holiday for the summer so my thoughts immediately went to summer fashion and I got really excited. So I thought I'd share with you guys my fashion inspiration for this summer.

First is the long floaty dress because I'm obsessed with these right now. I actually already bought one like this in the middle of winter so I think that's a definite problem with me. I think these would look perfect at a barbecue or even more perfect on a beach. This particular dress is the Sofia Grey Print Wide Sleeve Woven Maxi Dress which is £25. I like the fact that the sleeves and bottom of the dress are sheer, so I wouldn't be too hot in them really.

The next one along is the the white lace shirt, although I do love the shorts too, I'm just not sure what they are but I think the shirt matches well. It's the Natasha Organza Lace Shoulder Panel Oversized Shirt which is £20. I've really been loving shirts lately, baggy thin ones that would be perfect for the summer weather and for holidays.

Next is a bikini that I've absolutely fallen in love with. It's the Hawaii Push Up Tropical Print Long Line Bikini which is also £20. I love the colour and print of this bikini because it's bright and summery. I also love that it's a high waisted bikini bottoms because I think they're more elegant although it's not the best if you're looking to tan as you'll have a high line on your belly. Another thing that makes this perfect is that it's a push up bra because I'm not that comfortable with my chest but I think this would make me more confident whilst on holiday.

Lastly on the top line is a bracelet/ring. It's the Renee Floral Gem Hand Harness which is only £5. I really liked this pretty floral harness and can imagine myself wearing it for a meal out when I go on holiday. I really want to start wearing more jewellery this summer and I've been loving the boho style gold and silver jewellery.

First on the bottom line are the Rach Round Frame Sunglasses which are only £8. I feel in love with rounded frame glasses last year and so I've been looking for another pair for the summer this year too. I like these from Boohoo because they're quite different with the line going through the top. I'd love to get these or maybe some that have a thicker rim because I think they suit me better.

Next is the Lara Fringed Tassel Rucksack which is only £18. I can imagine having this at a festival this year because of the fun tassels and the practicality of having a back pack at a festival. I think a back pack would be good on holiday too if I'm going for a day out or to the beach and just for summer in general. It looks big enough to fit a lot of things in too.

Next is the Eliza Mock Croc Ankle Strap Peep-Toe Block Heels which are £30. I've been looking for some of these heels for so long. I wanted some with a block heel that weren't too high for when I went out cause I'm tall enough as is it! I also love the buckle on the ankle strap because then they will stay on my feet when I'm dancing.

And lastly is a dress that I'm not sure how it'll look on me but I love how it looks on the model. It's the Mariah Woven Short Sleeve Column Maxi Dress and it's only £15. I think this would look really nice for a barbeque or something like that with a nice pair of boots. I think it would also look great at a festival with a nice pair of combat boots and a ruck sack.

All of these things got me so excited for summer/holiday/festival and I can't wait to be able to buy all these clothes and can't wait for the sun to start shining again!

Which of these is your favourite?

Boohoo Haul!

I've been very naughty lately and did a huge Boohoo Haul with my christmas money. But I did get a lot of bargains in the process!
I did a video here where I show you what all the clothes look like on and I'll explain them here in this blog post!

The first dress is the Hannah Printed Off The shoulder Dress. I love the fact that this is off the shoulder, a few of the clothes in this haul are. I also usually buy just simply plain black clothes but this time I wanted to go for something different so I chose this patterned one. It was also only £8 instead of £15 so it was a good purchase.

The next was another off the shoulder dress, the Rita Off The Shoulder Bodycon Dress. It's similar to the first dress but it's a lot tighter on the body instead, making it a less casual dress. I also got it in black because that's pretty much all I wear! This was only £10 but I think it's a great staple piece to have in your wardrobe.

Next is one of my favourites, the Kendall Cage Sleeve Detail Dress. I would never normally buy a long sleeved dress but I love the cut outs on the sleeves. It's not a tight dress which I like too because it makes it more casual. This was only £15 too and I'd wanted it for ages so I finally bought it for myself.

The next is very different from my usual taste. I'm never one for bold prints because my hair is quite fussy so I thought it wouldn't suit but I took a chance. The love the fact that it has open sleeves too because it just makes the dress more interesting. This is the Callie Open Shoulder Floral Shift Dress and it's only £6 instead of £15 which is a big bargain.

This is also a very different pattern again for the same reason as it being too fussy but I really like this one. I love the mesh detail on the sides of the shorts and the tie around the waist because I think it gives me more shape. It's quite low down which is something I'd never usually buy but I thought I'd give it a chance and it doesn't look too bad. This playsuit is the Elissia Neon Floral Mesh Insert Tie Waist Playsuit and it was a huge bargain at only £5!

This playsuit is one of my favourite purchases of this haul. It's so plain and simple but I love it. The shorts are flippy and the cut of the playsuit is really flattering. It's the Ashleigh Turtle Neck Cap Sleeved Playsuit and it was only £8. I also decided to choose the berry colour for a change instead of the normal black.

This is dress was just for casual nights out as it's plain but still a bodycon. It's just a simple black dress but with a curved hem line which I think makes it just that little bit more interesting. It's the Taylor Curved Hem Roll Sleeved T-Shirt Dress and it was only £12. It comes in different colours but as always I chose black!

This dress is so out of my comfort zone it's unreal! For one, again it's patterned which I usually steer clear from but I just loved the shape of this dress. I must've been in a summer mood as I wouldn't wear this in the cold weather yet. I've fallen in love with this maxi dress though, which is a button down and also has huge splits up the sides. I can't wait to wear this dress in Spring/Summer. It's the Terri Paisley Button Through Maxi Dress.

The first pair of shorts I got were also something I'd never usually get. They're high waisted with kind of a geometric pattern on them. They're such a nice material and sit really well on my hips. They also fit in with my normal black and white theme. They are the Gail Grid Print Chiffon Skater Short and they were only £10 which I think is a bargain.

Lastly is this pair of flippy shorts that I think are quite casual so I've been wearing them to my lectures with tights alot but you could also wear them with a cropped top on a night out. They're also that lovely berry colour. They're the Ruby Plain Flippy Culottes and they were only £6 which I think is a massive bargain, I might even get more in the future in different colours.

So I hope you enjoyed this haul of Boohoo clothes. I don't think I'll be buying much now, my student loan is dwindling significantly. Thanks for watching/reading and don't forget to check the video out for this post!

Autumn Lookbook!

So my newest video is my Autumn Lookbook including affordable clothes from Primark, New Look and Boohoo. I was so excited to film this video!
Check it out here>> Autumn Lookbook
So I'll get started on the looks.

The first one is a cute girly one, with the dress and the long socks, but also has an urban look to it with the checkered shirt and chunky winter boots.
The dress is a new purchase from Boohoo and it's a soft black material with a turtle neck to keep you warm. I've only worn it for this shoot but I've fallen in love with it immediately, I might even have to get it in different colours!
The shirt was actually given to me but it's bigger than my normal size so it looks baggy. I wear this shirt with most of my clothes, with the sleeves rolled up and it makes a great jacket. I do know that it's from New Look though where there are some amazing shirts at the minute.
The knee high socks are just everyday ones that you can pretty much get from anywhere. I think they're good with this outfit because you can keep yourself warm whilst also looking good. I think they look great with the boots too.
The boots are another new purchase from New Look. I wanted some winter boots for ages and fell in love with these ones. They're a bit pricier at just under £30 but I think they're worth it for the winter months because they keep my feet nice and warm and are really sturdy and comfortable too.

The next look is a more casual one that I'd probably wear to a lecture or to go shopping in.
My top is actually from Primark and it was an incredible £3! So I bought one in black and grey. Even though they're cropped tops and look thin they actually keep you really warm. It must be the material they're made of.
My jeans are also from Primark and they're just plain black ones that were £7. I added the rips in the knees myself making them look more expensive than they actually are and I think that's a better idea than buying some with rips in. I've done this to a number of my jeans myself.
My shoes are another new purchase from Boohoo. They're chunky loafers that have quite a high heel on them but I think they'll go with a lot of my clothes and I can't wait to wear them out.
And lastly is my scarf which is also from Primark. It was only £6 and it's reversible, so each side has a different thing on it. I love the dark colours because I think they match my clothes the most. This is also one of the warmest scarves I've ever owned, I'm forever wrapping it round me when I'm out and even when I'm at home.

And this outfit is probably one of my favourites.
Firstly the top is from Primark again (I'm in love) and it's the perfect autumn/winter cropped top. The sleeves are long and warm and the material is super soft, I'll be wearing it a lot this winter.
And these jeans I'm also in love with. I've wanted a pair of boyfriend jeans for ages and I finally bought these ones from Boohoo with huge rips in. These are so comfy, and I feel I could wear them in the day but also if I was to go out at night with a really nice pair of heels.
And lastly the heels I actually bought from Manchester Market in the Arndale. I shop there a lot for my shoes because they're not that expensive and they're great quality too. They're easy to walk in and they're really comfy too so I feel I could wear them for a full night out.

And my last outfit was an unplanned one so I don't have any pictures but you'll know what I'm talking about if you've seen the video. This is my comfy outfit and I wear this every time I'm in my room or halls.
The top is from New Look and it's just a simple high neck black top with no sleeves. It's so comfy and I can lounge around in it all day.
The joggers I grabbed in the sale at Forever 21 because I haven't actually got a pair. These are lined inside so they're super soft and comfortable and they were also a bargain so I'm happy!
My favourite slippers are only £3 from Primark and they're the softest thing I've ever felt. They also have little sticky pads of the bottom so I don't go sliding down the corridor when I wear them.
The headphones that I wear in my video are some I bought from Urbanears and they're the Plattan ones in white. These have great sound quality which is great for editing or listening to music.
My dressing gown I've actually had a while so couldn't remember where I got it from but I've found out it's from a shop/brand called Camille which make super soft and comfy night wear and it must be good quality if I've had this one for a few years!

So that's all my outfits from my Autumn Lookbook.
If you haven't already, you can check it out here>> Autumn Lookbook

Mini Haul

So a few days ago I went into Manchester, mostly to watch the new Romeo and Juliet, but I'd also just been payed so I did some cheeky shopping too!
This denim pinafore dress is from Primark and I saw that they were clearing them out. I've wanted a dress like this for ages and haven't found one that I like but I loved this! The straps are leather look and it has little gold studs too. I thought this dress was a bargain for just £5, you can wear it with cropped tops for going out or a t-shirt for casual or even a nice jumper underneath for an Autumnal look.

I saw this cropped top to match the dress above and tried them on together. The fabric is really thin which is great for me because I get too hot pretty easily, so this is perfect. It's also long sleeved too which will keep my arms warm in college. This cropped top was only £5 too so it was a bargain and I've always wanted a long sleeved cropped top.
These leggings were from a place called Shout in Manchester which is one of my favourite shops. They always have amazing things that are really cheap! I love the tartan pattern this year and these leggings were just shouting out at me. I know that they're pretty bright but they are a staple piece that I will just wear with a plain top and shoes. These were only £5 too!

This top is from Shout too. I've been looking for one of these tops with the almost spaghetti straps for ages and I finally found this one. Another plus with this top is that it's velvet and matches well with a lot of my leggings. This would be nice for something like a casual party. It was only £7!

I'd run out of my mascara so I needed a new one. My last one was the Scandal Eyes Retro Glam mascara. I did like this mascara but I don't think it's the best one I've had. I decided to go back to my old favourite with the Maybelline Falsies. This mascara isn't over expensive and I love the brush! I think I managed to find it for £6.

I wasn't particularly looking for anything in Topshop because I didn't have that much money left but when I saw this scrunchie I knew I had to buy it. It's a dark green velvet scrunchie with a small bow that has wire inside so you can manipulate it any way you want. I love this and will mostly use it when I put half my hair up. This was £4 from Topshop

I decided to buy some tights because it's now becoming colder. I needed a normal pair and then I saw these cute grey winter ones that are thicker. Hopefully I will get the chance to wear them in winter soon. I think these were £2.50/£3 from Primark.

I also bought some midi rings from Primark. These were only £1.50 and you get eight rings. I got these ones because they are all different colours and you can wear different ones with different outifts. There's silver, gold, rose gold and a dark grey that I was already wearing! I think these look pretty and aren't expensive.

Less interestingly I bought these hair clips for when I want to only put half my hair up. These were from Primark and I can't remember how much they were but I think they were under £2.

And finally from Primark I never fail to buy some new underwear. The top pair I bought because of the mint green colour that I'm obsessed with and the bottom are a cute purple colour with light pink detailing. I think these were about £1.70 each or something like that.

So that was just a small haul of the things I bought. Hopefully I will do more winter shopping soon because I'm looking for the perfect winter jumper. If anyone knows any nice ones, let me know!

Outfit a day- Holiday version

So as you all know I came back off my holidays a few days ago. I had an amazing time and there will definitely be more posts about what I did there. But I decided to take a picture of each outfit that I wore that night to show you all my holiday clothes and outfits. So this is the first seven!
This was the first day. I was pretty tired so I didn't do much with my hair or make-up, I just put my hair in a bun and applied some mascara. I wore a new white cropped boyfriend top from Primark and a long black maxi skirt from Shout. I also wore some white sandals from George.

On the second day I wore this new maxi skirt I'd bought before I came from Shout and it soon became my favourite piece. It's so nice and floaty, with a short skirt underneath. I paired it with a cropped grey top which I can't remember where I got it from..... I also wore a pair of black Toms underneath.

On the third day I wore my hair half up, half down, and my make-up was a subtle smokey eye with red lipstick. I wore the denim shorts that I made and a cropped lace top from Shout.I also wore my trusted converse and a pair of white Rayberries.( Can't afford real ones....)

On the fourth day I wore my DIY green top, with the bows on the back, with a pair of short shorts from New Look. I also wore my white converse.

On the fifth day I sprayed salt spray in my hair after I'd gotten out of the pool and let it dry naturally wavy. I then pinned up some parts of it. I wore a dress that I'd gotten as a hand me down, and my converse.

On the sixth day I wore my white cropped boyfriend top from Primark again and a pair of tied denim shorts from New Look. I also wore some red Rayberries and my white converse I got from Office.

On the seventh day I wore my grey cropped top again and my denim skirt from Topshop. I paired it with my converse and red Rayberries.

So in the next couple of days the second weeks outfits will be on :)
