Bloggers Do Collections Better!

So I thought about what would be my biggest collection that I have and without a shadow of a doubt, it's my nail polish collection. I used to be massively into nail art and bought a couple of nail polishes a week. I'm less into it now because of time but I'm still pretty proud of my nail varnish collection. But instead of going through all of my nail varnishes I just chose the biggest brand that I have which is Barry M. I fall in love with Barry M colours and the consistency and drying time is amazing for the price that they are. So I've split them up a bit and I'll go through them now.

Firstly are the special polishes that I have. Going from left to right, the first one is the crackle nail effect that I bought ages ago. I don't use this as much now but I still think it's a really interesting effect for your nails.
Next is the Amethyst Glitter varnish. It has different flecks of lots of different coloured glitters and over a coloured nail varnish, this looks amazing.
Next is the Silvery Lilac. This colour is iridescent so it looks completely different in different lights. There's also tiny pieces of glitter in there too which makes it glitter even more.
Next is one of my favourites which is the Teal one. This is really shiny and I absolutely love the turquoise colour of it. It looks amazing with a tan.
Next is the Limited Edition colour 340. This is a gold colour that has long rectangular pieces of gold glitter in which makes it a really interesting nail polish. I haven't tried this yet because I got it recently bit I can't wait to.
Next is the Yellow Topaz Glitter and it's simply just chunks of gold glitter. It looks amazing over black nail varnish for that added sparkle and you can put as much or as less as you want on.
Next is the Black Multi-Glitter nail polish which is simple a black polish with flecks on glitter in it. It's so simple but really effective with any outfit.
And lastly is the Nail Effects in silver which is just a metallic silver that looks amazing on nails and I can't wait to use it when I have a tan.

Next is just some random colours. The first is Cyan Blue and it's a really nice bright blue. The next is just a simple clear coat but it's easily one of the best ones I've ever bought. This is my go-to nail polish because it dries so quickly. Next is just a simple black and again it's go-to black because of the colour quality and how quickly it dries.
Next is Block Orange which is just a really bright orange that looks amazing on holiday. And next is a bright pink called Pink Flamingo which is the same as the orange and looks amazing on holiday. And lastly is just a simple white but it's a must have this summer because of the price and quality of product.

But this set is definitely my favourite. The first one is pastel yellow called Lemon. I'm really into pastels at the moment and this is the perfect pale yellow. Next is the Gelly Hi-Shine in Dragon which is just a really pale pink. And next is the Gelly Hi-Shine in Papaya which is my newest and most favourite colour at the moment. It's a kind of pale peach colour that I'm obsessed with in the sun. And next is my other favourite and it's the Gelly Hi-Shine in Greenberry. It looks amazing with a tan and I'm loving the mint green colour this summer. And the next is Coral which is a really bright colour. And lastly is the colour Berry which is a pastel purple. As you can see I'm into pastels a lot this summer!

So that's my collection post for this weeks #bloggersdoitbetter and I hope you enjoyed it!

Outfit a day Part 2- Holiday

So this is the second part of the Outfit a day holiday edition. This is from the last week of my holiday.
This day I wore my denim DIY shorts, white sandals and a aztec print cropped top.

On this day I put my fringe back (normally a full fringe, the heat didn't do it any good though) and wore my white boyfriend t-shirt and a hemmed skirt which is longer mesh at the back than the front but with a small underskirt underneath. I also wore my white sandals.

On this day I wore a plain black vest top and a pair of patterned short shorts from New Look. I paired these with my white converse.

On this day we were going on a trip to Puerto Banus so I wanted to look quite nice. I wore a black bandeau top with a plain black maxi skirt too. I wore my white sandals because they were the comfiest.

I wore a necklace with angel wings in it and matched it with this angel wings ring. Other than that I wore a red shambala bracelet and nothing else.

Because of the heat and pool water my hair had been drying naturally wavy so I left it, added some salt spray and put it half up half down with a plain black clip quite messily.

For my make-up I did a silver and black smokey eye with red lipstick.

On this day it was my birthday so I wore this maxi dress with the skirt underneath because i =t was my favourite. I'd also just been shopping and bought this cropped top with the mesh at the top. I wore a pair of black toms underneath. I'd straightened my fringe too and curled the ends of my hair.

On this day I wore my black maxi skirt again with my white sandals. I also wore the same top as before but in red (I bought two)

And on the last day I wore my DIY denim shorts and my black lace backed top. I left my hair natural and paired it with my white sandals.

Overall I loved dressing up nicely to go out and I'm quite proud of the outfits that I made with the clothes that I'd brought. I also had an amazing holiday which I will probably post about soon.

30 Day Snap....

I apologise again for lack of pictures recently. I've realised I'm not cut out to doing a picture a day. So to make up for it, I've taken enough pictures that will cover the days I have missed. Warning, it will probably be quite long.

#18
Today I bought a new skincare routine. I have quite dry/sensitive skin, so I seem to use a lot of moisteriser. I've already got the Simple Facial Toner, which I use to clean my face, and I've just got the Simple Facial Wash that I can use in the shower and some mornings, and the Simple Rich Moisteriser, which I've read is good for dry skin. I like Simple because it isn't too expensive and easy to find.

#19
Recently I've ran out of Lady Gaga's perfume which was definitely my favourite, I thought I would find a new one. My nan gave my mum this Daisy by Marc Jacobs and I fell in love with it immediately, so it's my new favourite now!

#20
I've been to loads of Open Days lately.

#21
I've also been reading ALL of these books! I'm on the last one right now.

#22
Just bought these as my holiday books! Hopefully they're good reads.

#23
My brother bought some new speakers so he gave me his old ones. They're pretty cool!

#24
I spent most of my time cleaning my room too. I thought I'd show you what covers my walls. This is about half of my room, walls and ceiling covered in magazine cutouts. It took me a while but I love it!

#25
I bought this new heat protect stuff from my local hairdressers. Hopefully it works!

#26
Barry M Gelly nail varnish in Greenberry. I love this nail varnish, and the colour is amazing!

#27
I lost this ages ago, and from tidying my room, I've found it again. It's a travel size perfume bottle that you can put any perfume into. It's light, and small enough for your bag, but holds enough perfume. It's a shame I didn't find it before the end of the college year, it would've come in handy.

#28
I have also recently started snacking on these biscuit bars. I needed a healthier option than a chocolate biscuit and so I found these. I love anything strawberry and these bars are perfect to snack on in college.

So I'm sorry it's been a while again. I'll make sure to keep up to date for these last few days.

30 Day Snap #17

I can't believe it's past the middle of June! It's gone so quick already!
Today I had college and it really tired me out :( I also had my second cervical cancer jab too which makes my arm hurt. So not good day really.

This is my picture for the day. I wanted to show off my nail varnish because I love it so much. It's a w7 Matt Green one and it's amazing. Doesn't take too long to dry and the colour is bright.
I also am playing my brother's Xbox because I miss him loads :(

Nail Varnish

I have always hugely been into nails, and I just love it when my nails look pretty. I've kind of cooled down a bit now, but I went through a phase where I bought a few nail varnishes every couple of weeks and I guess that they've just built up after all this time.

This is my nail varnish collection. It mostly consists of Barry M nail varnish because you will see later that Barry M is definitely my favourite. But there's also loads of random brands that I've been given too by friends and family.

Also you can see that I own lots of nail art pens. I got these for my birthday (36) and I think my mum got them off Ebay. I don't think they were overly expensive but you get a good choice of colours and lots of variety.

So I thought today I would show you some of my favourite nail varnishes, and brands and also why I like them and where I got them from. Out of my many nail varnishes I chose 9 that I absolutely adored.

So I'll go from left to right.
Firstly is of course a Barry M Varnish. This colour is called Teal 334 and it was £2.99 from Superdrug. You can also get any of these Barry M products from Boots and other stores like that. I love this colour because it's a bright shimmery blue, and under the lights it looks gorgeous. It's also iridescent which made me fall in love with it further. I think this is a very summery colour and it also looks great on toes.

The next one along is an Essie Nail Varnish. I think I was treated to this polish for my birthday, and we bought it from a nail salon where I had my nails done. This colour is Wild Thing by Essie and I'm not really sure how much they are so I researched it and found it would be Approx £5-£7. You can get Essie from any stores like Boots if they have an Essie counter and I recommend this colour. Its quite like a plum purple with a hint of pink. But I love this nail polish because there's little bits of silver glitter within the polish which makes it sparkle. This colour isn't in your face so much, so you could pretty much wear it with anything. It also dries quickly too which is a bonus!

The next nail varnish is my clear Barry M nail polish. I don't know where I'd be without this top and base coat. I'm quite impatient when I'm waiting for my nails to dry and usually end up smudging them but this Barry M is so quick drying that it usually solves my problem. It was also only £2.99 which is a bargain! Again you buy this nail varnish from anywhere that sells Barry M products but I recommend Boots or Superdrug.

The next varnish along is a Sally Hansen nail polish. I'm not quite sure how I came across this nail varnish, I think it was given to me by a relative but I fell in love with it immediately. It's the Insta-Dri varnish in the colour Teal-y-fast. The fact that it's got a great name should sell it to you but if not then you should know that it is definitely quick drying. I don't usually trust a quick drying varnish because most of them aren't but this one is so fast. You don't need loads of coats of it either to make it look thick which I think helps speed up the process. It's like a glittery, shimmery teal colour, which looks AMAZING under lights. I found it to be Approx £3.

Both of the red nail varnishes, the glittery one and the plain one, are both Sinful nail varnishes. I'd never heard of sinful before until I bought these at my local hairdressers. They came as a set with two others but these two colours work so well together. The glittery one is the colour Romp and the plain one is called Lust. On their own they are both great colours but together they look amazing. Romp is simply just clear varnish with red glitter in. It looks great but takes quite a few coats to make a real difference which could cause it to become too thick. Lust is also one of the best reds I've found to date because it's a bright red. With Romp over the top of Lust, it makes an amazing nail varnish, that's bright and glittery, perfect for Christmas but also summer too. I think they are approx £5 each.

The nail varnish in the middle is a W7 nail varnish. Again I can't remember how I stumbled across this varnish but it caught my attention because it was a matt polish. I absolutely love matt varnishes (forever looking for a black) and when I saw the colour of this I love it even more. It's simply just called 84 Matt Green and I love the colour. It's like a bright turquoise green that looks amazing on tanned skin. Great for summer and the texture is perfect. Approx £3.

The next varnish is another Barry M. This is called Silvery Lilac and it was £2.99 too. I loved this colour because it was iridescent and looked different when you looked at it from different angles. There are hints of purple, lilac and silver in there. It also has has tiny parts of silver glitter in it, making it sparkle under the light. This makes this varnish a fun colour to wear, and even though it isn't bright I think it's still a statement colour. I got this from Superdrug but they're also sold in shops like Boots etc.

The next varnish is also ANOTHER Barry M. This is one of the newest Barry M products, the Gelly Hi-shine Nail Paint. The colour of this one is Greenberry and it was £3.99. More expensive than usual but it's definitely worth it. I also got this from Superdrug. This has become my all time favourite nail polish right now. It was the perfect summer colour which is why I bought it, and because it's the Gelly varnish it gives off such a smooth and bubbly(?) texture that made it fun to wear and got lots of interest from my friends. Looks great in the sun and also on your toes. I highly recommend this nail varnish for a holiday or just for a bright change, it's SO worth it!

And finally the last varnish is of course a Barry M one. It's one of the special polishes that came out a little bit before Christmas I think. The colour is Yellow Topaz and it was £2.99. I also bought this from Superdrug, but it can be found in Boots etc. I've always wanted one of these top coats for my nails because I wanted it over the top of a colour. I mostly use black underneath this polish because I think the contrast between gold and black really stands out. The varnish is simply just clear polish with big gold bits of glitter in. But the parts of glitter aren't too big that they take over the whole nail and they aren't too small that you can't see them, they're the right size. This is a great nail varnish and I recommend this for maybe a more special occasion, like going for a meal etc.

So that is my collection of my favourite nail varnishes. I'm sorry if it's too long, when I start writing I can't seem to stop. I hope this helped you if you were planning on buying a new varnish, or hope it entertained you if you were just pondering. Anyways thanks for reading and let me know if you have any of these varnishes and what you think of them.

Stay happy,
