Boohoo Wishlist #2

It's here again!
The next series in my Boohoo Wishlist is Boohoo Boutique. This is the nice night time clothes or luxury items that everyone wants! So let's get into it!
(I apologise for the bad quality picture, I don't know how to get it better!)

So the first item is this pair of shorts. They are the Boutique Mya All Over Hand Beaded Shorts for £15 and I actually own these shorts! I thought I would add these because I absolutely love these shorts. I think they look so much more expensive than they actually are. The beading detail is so nice and even though I don't have the matching top it still works with loads of things. I usually wear them on a night out with a cropped top and heels because it looks so elegant.

Next is the Boutique Pam Patterned Bodycon Dress and I absolutely love this dress. Although it might clash with my hair I love the patterns and especially on the hem of the dress. I like the conservative top part too, not showing off any chest because that's usually what I go for. I think this would look great at a christmas party of something like that and it's only £35.

The middle one is actually a coat and I do have one similar to this that I've started to wear constantly. This is the Boutique Orla Collarless Wool Coat for £40. These duster kind of coats are so unbelievably warm and on trend at the same time. They can look great with a pair of jeans and a scarf on a day out but also with a dress and heels on a night out. This coat is definitely one of my essentials.

Next is the Boutique Aura Mesh Grid Full Midi Skater Skirt for £20. I have one of this style of skirt already but I hardly wear it because it's not the kind of thing I'd wear on a night out clubbing. If I was going for a really nice meal or to a christmas party I would love to wear one of these skirts. I love the elegant look of them with heels and they really emphasise your waist which is always great. These are such a nice style of skirt to have in your wardrobe.

And lastly in another dress. It's the Ariel Boutique Lace Crochet Bodycon Dress for £30. I love the contrast between these two colours and how the lace pattern stands out against the dark background. The high neck is also suitable for me and the way the lace is around the waist makes the eyes drawn to their showing off your waist. This is also another dress that would be perfect for a christmas party!

Hope you liked my next wishlist, I have much more planned!

Boohoo Wishlist #1!

So if you guys know me well, you'll know my all time favourite shop is Boohoo (online shop). So because I have no money I thought I'd do a wish list of all the things I want instead. I looked at the Boohoo Brands because they kind of put everything together into similar things so if you're looking for something in particular it really helps.
So the first Brand is called Boohoo Blue and no it's not all blue clothes like I assumed! There is lots of denim and most of the clothes are very tom-boy-ish which is my style all over. This is my favourite brand ever!
The first item is a checkered shirt. Every girl needs a shirt like this in their lives. It's so versatile, and you can pretty much wear it with anything. I mainly wear mine with jeans or tucked into a cute skirt, but also wrapped around a dress to add some extra edge. This shirt is the Fiona Oversized Longline Checked Shirt which is a great steal at £15. Also very good for Autumn/Winter to layer up over your clothes.
Next is a pair of jeans. I'm absolutely in love with boyfriend jeans at the minute, especially the ones with huge rips in. These are the Gemma All Over Ripped 7/8th Jeans for £25. I've bought a pair of ripped jeans from Boohoo before and I absolutely love them! I sometimes wear them casual with a simple t-shirt and converse or you can dress it up with a nice cropped top and a pair of boots or heels.
Next is a denim jacket which I think are perfect for Autumn because it's a jacket but you don't need much of the warmth, unless you live up North like me! This is the Mia Oversize Boyfriend Denim Jacket for £25. This can be worn with anything and it's not just for Autumn, this jacket can be worn all year round with pants in Winter and dresses in Summer.
The next is a denim skirt that have become very big this year. I currently own a black one that I wear with so many things. I can wear it casually for my lectures but I also wear it when I go out at night. This one is the Elise Denim Button Through Mini Mid Blue Skirt for £15. Again it can easily be dressed up or dressed down so I think this is an essential.
And finally is a shirt dress which have become so popular recently. They're lightweight and easy to wear with anything. You can go casual with leggings or jeans underneath but they're also so easy to wear on a night out too. This is the Sophia Stripe Shirt Dress for £20. But these dresses are so popular now you'll be able to find any style that you want pretty much anywhere. I highly recommend having one of these in your wardrobe!
So that's all the clothes from that particular brand on Boohoo that I would want to get, too bad I'm a pretty poor student. This is just the first installation of this, so I will be doing other brands too in the future so look forward to that!

Boohoo Wishlist!

As you all know one of my favourite clothing stores/online stores is definitely Boohoo.com and I recently booked a girls holiday for the summer so my thoughts immediately went to summer fashion and I got really excited. So I thought I'd share with you guys my fashion inspiration for this summer.

First is the long floaty dress because I'm obsessed with these right now. I actually already bought one like this in the middle of winter so I think that's a definite problem with me. I think these would look perfect at a barbecue or even more perfect on a beach. This particular dress is the Sofia Grey Print Wide Sleeve Woven Maxi Dress which is £25. I like the fact that the sleeves and bottom of the dress are sheer, so I wouldn't be too hot in them really.

The next one along is the the white lace shirt, although I do love the shorts too, I'm just not sure what they are but I think the shirt matches well. It's the Natasha Organza Lace Shoulder Panel Oversized Shirt which is £20. I've really been loving shirts lately, baggy thin ones that would be perfect for the summer weather and for holidays.

Next is a bikini that I've absolutely fallen in love with. It's the Hawaii Push Up Tropical Print Long Line Bikini which is also £20. I love the colour and print of this bikini because it's bright and summery. I also love that it's a high waisted bikini bottoms because I think they're more elegant although it's not the best if you're looking to tan as you'll have a high line on your belly. Another thing that makes this perfect is that it's a push up bra because I'm not that comfortable with my chest but I think this would make me more confident whilst on holiday.

Lastly on the top line is a bracelet/ring. It's the Renee Floral Gem Hand Harness which is only £5. I really liked this pretty floral harness and can imagine myself wearing it for a meal out when I go on holiday. I really want to start wearing more jewellery this summer and I've been loving the boho style gold and silver jewellery.

First on the bottom line are the Rach Round Frame Sunglasses which are only £8. I feel in love with rounded frame glasses last year and so I've been looking for another pair for the summer this year too. I like these from Boohoo because they're quite different with the line going through the top. I'd love to get these or maybe some that have a thicker rim because I think they suit me better.

Next is the Lara Fringed Tassel Rucksack which is only £18. I can imagine having this at a festival this year because of the fun tassels and the practicality of having a back pack at a festival. I think a back pack would be good on holiday too if I'm going for a day out or to the beach and just for summer in general. It looks big enough to fit a lot of things in too.

Next is the Eliza Mock Croc Ankle Strap Peep-Toe Block Heels which are £30. I've been looking for some of these heels for so long. I wanted some with a block heel that weren't too high for when I went out cause I'm tall enough as is it! I also love the buckle on the ankle strap because then they will stay on my feet when I'm dancing.

And lastly is a dress that I'm not sure how it'll look on me but I love how it looks on the model. It's the Mariah Woven Short Sleeve Column Maxi Dress and it's only £15. I think this would look really nice for a barbeque or something like that with a nice pair of boots. I think it would also look great at a festival with a nice pair of combat boots and a ruck sack.

All of these things got me so excited for summer/holiday/festival and I can't wait to be able to buy all these clothes and can't wait for the sun to start shining again!

Which of these is your favourite?

I GOT A TATTOO!

So it's been a while but quick update, I got a tattoo!
For anyone that knows me well knows that I've wanted a tattoo for ages but just not known what to get. At one point I wanted a dreamcatcher or something to do with travelling but I never put my mind to it. But I soon found a design that I fell in love with and they're called Mandala's. Wikipedia describes them as a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the Universe and I do love that explanation. To be honest I just loved the designs but from doing research I've found loads of different meanings to them.
Here are some examples I looked at:

I absolutely fell in love with these designs. I think they're really pretty and I love the symmetry of them all. The last one was my favourite and I'd decided that I wanted it on my forearm. I wasn't sure how it would look though because I have super skinny arms so didn't know if it would look too thick or stupid but I tried anyways.
I got my friend to draw up what I wanted, with elements from all the different pictures that I liked and this is what she came up with.

I absolutely fell in love with it straight away. She then proceeded to draw it on my arm so that I knew what it would like... in pen... that didn't come off for days.

Obviously it wasn't the perfect drawing but I decided that that was what I wanted to get. So my friend drew it up again and that was what I sent to the tattoo artist.
I went to Two Dogs in Earlstown because two of my friends had been there and highly recommended it. So I messaged them and asked when the earliest I could get an appointment for and luckily they fit me in about 10 days later on the 31st Jan. They said it would take 2 hours and cost me £100 which I thought was very reasonable for the detail going into it. So I agreed and asked them to redraw it properly, just without the thick line around the outside and then waited until it was time.

On the day I was so nervous because I didn't know how I would react to getting a tattoo. They welcomed me with open arms and made me comfortable before they started. She transferred it onto my arm and then made sure I was fine with starting. I'm not going to lie but it did really hurt (I didn't cry) and obviously some lines hurt more than others, but it was so worth it. It did take just under two hours but the time flew by.

And she also put white ink in the middle dots so that they stood out more.
She then wrapped it up and I didn't touch it for a few hours.
I also made sure I had some cream for it as I had to clean it with warm soapy water and then out cream on it. We bought Bepanthen which is just for nappy care because it was recommended.

So I cleaned it and then put the cream on but it wasn't too sore, just when I touched it. Didn't stop me going out either!

Here is a picture of me with a funny arm because I was trying to show it off. The dress is new from Boohoo (haul coming soon) and the boots are from New Look.

So this is the finished look
I love the detail of it so much and I've had nothing but compliments off my friends and family, even my grandparents who weren't too keen in me having a tattoo in the first place.
I found this picture on Pinterest that describes what a Mandala means to me and I know that when I look down at it, it's what I'll see.
I think the first three are more relevant to me than the others but that's what I'll think everytime I look down at it. And it's also unbelievably pretty!

Hope you all like this post, never really seen one like this before so I thought it would be interesting.
Also hope you guys love my tattoo as much as me because I'm hoping to get more in the future, addicted maybe?

Thanks for reading,
