Music Monday!

FINALLY NEW POST!!
So as you know I went away and that's why I've haven't been on and so that gives me lots of time to listen to new music!

Firstly I finally watched Fall Out Boy's The Young Blood Chronicles and I loved it!! I'm big into music videos and watch them a lot as it's something I'm interested in doing when I'm older, and I loved these. Basically it's all of the songs from their album Save Rock and Roll, turned into a massive movie cut into the eleven songs. So each song carries on from the next but now you can watch it as a whole movie and I'm so in love with all of the songs! I love this genre of music which surprises people a lot but I've always loved Fall Out Boy, even all their old songs.
My favourite ones are probably Just One Yesterday, Rat A Tat and Young Volcanoes. And to be warned the music videos are pretty twisted and a bit strange but I think that's why I think they're so interesting!
So you guys should definitely go and check the whole film out here! (It is pretty long!)

Next are just a few songs I've been listening to lately.
First is by The Vamps and it's called Oh Cecelia. I loved this song when they brought it out the first time but they've released it again with my favourite person Shawn Mendes on the track too so I was over the moon! I've also got tickets for The Vamps soon so I need to start listening to their album again!

Next is I Know by Shift K3Y.
I loved their song Touch so when I listened to this one I loved it immediately!
It's a great partying/club song and I think that it's really catchy so I've been listening to this a lot!
and again the music video is super cool and interesting.

Next is Comeback by Ella Eyre.
I love her voice off other songs she's featured on and this song is so good to belt out with your girls whilst you're getting ready for a night out! She's so strong and powered with this song and gives us girls something to sing about! Love it!

And last is two new releases from my faves. The first is One Direction's first song they've released from their next album 'Four'. It's called Fireproof and it's a cute song with nice harmonies but the boys sound amazing in their solos and makes me excited for the full album!
And the last one is off the Amnesia single by 5 Seconds of Summer and it's called Daylight.
It's a great up beat from them that seems to be about vampires haha but it's a really fun song and I can't stop listening to it!

So as usual a diverse music taste but hope you like it and check some of them out!

Music Mondays!

So I do love my music. I don't think I've ever gone a day without listening to it.
I like to think of my music taste as diverse because I listen to lots of different genres ranging from Chart Music to Country to Punk so I think it's a good idea for me to share a weekly playlist with you guys where I share which songs/artists I have been loving the past week!

Recently I went to V Festival and listened to some artists I'd never seen before but I also saw ones that I absolutely adored. So firstly an artist I've been loving this week is Ed Sheeran. I hadn't really heard much from his new album before I went to watch him but as soon as I heard him sing the songs I knew I needed to get it. I can't praise him enough for how good he was on stage and I'm really proud of how far he's come from the beginning. He's so humble and you can tell he loves every second of performing.
My favourites off his new album are Nina, Tenerife Sea, Bloodstream, Afire Love, All Of The Stars and I See Fire.
His lyrics have developed so well in this album, ranging from meaningful songs to romantic songs, especially Tenerife Sea, it's the kind of song you want to be serenaded on a beach with! Which is why I love it so much, being a typical girl! And obviously if you've seen The Fault In Our Stars like me, you'll understand why I love All Of The Stars so much!
So if you haven't already you have to go and buy his X album because it's well worth it. Obviously it's not the party kind of music but it's great to listen to when you're feeling thoughtful!

Also another artist I've been loving this week is a girl called Chlöe Howl. To be truthful before V Fest I'd never heard of her before but my friend insisted I go to watch her and I'm so glad I did. She has such a unique voice and is amazing live! She deserved such a bigger crowd than she got. My favourites of hers are Disappointed and Rumour as she isn't afraid to express her feelings in her songs. Her lyrics are so clever and I can't wait for her to show everyone what she's made of!

And the last artist to talk about is a boy called Shawn Mendes. He started off singing 6 seconds snippets on the Vine App where he got more and more views. Eventually he actually did manage to bag himself a record deal where he's produced his own EP. I've always been a fan of his singing because I think he has such a unique voice. He's two years younger than me but he already has a huge fandom and I think he'll end up being really big soon. Because he is so young I half expected his songs and lyrics to be really 'poppy' and a bit cheesy like similar 16 year-olds songs but he blew me away by the lyrics of his songs and the music he sings to. His favourites of mine are The Weight and Life Of The Party.

and just a few extra songs-
Rizzle Kicks- Tell Her. These guys surprised me so much at V Fest. They have amazing energy on stage and their voices are really great! I fell in love with their new single immediately.

Capital Cities- Safe and Sound. I know this song is about a year old but I still love this song and it's squeezed its way back into my playlist recently!

Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora- Black Widow. I love this song as I'm slowly falling in love with Iggy Azalea and this song is all about girl power so I'm all in!

Taylor Swift- Shake It Off. I've seen so many mixed reviews about this song and I'll be honest I'm not too much of a Taylor Swift fan but I fell in love with this song. It's so catchy and I love that in the video she doesn't take herself too seriously. It's a happy song that you will find yourself singing along to!

David Guetta- Lovers On The Sun. This is my favourite party song I've been listening to recently. Sam Martin's voice in this is amazing and I love the whole beat of the song. I've also heard it played in a lot of clubs recently too!

So they are the artists/songs that I've been listening to recently. I want to try and make this a weekly thing although not sure how it's going to work next week as I'm holiday but I will try and post something!

Thanks for reading, comment who you've been listening to this week, I love discovering new artists/songs!

Would you rather?!

I can't believe it's almost been a month since I last wrote a blog post! I'm so ashamed!
I have been pretty busy though, spending lots of time with my friends and family whilst I can, before I go to university at the end of September.
I also obviously had results day where I luckily got enough points to get into my first University of my choice which is Edge Hill University doing Film and TV Production. Then the day after I had V Festival in Staffordshire which was amazing.
YouTube Catchup-

So I thought I'd get back into the swing of things by starting with a tag from another blogger. I recently read the Would You Rather- Beauty Edition Tag over on Touch Of Belle (Touch Of Belle) and I thought I would answer the questions myself!

1) Would You Rather... Lose all of your mascara, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I would definitely rather lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows! I don't think I could live without my mascaras and lipsticks!

2) Would You Rather... Chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
That's easy! I would much rather never be able to cut my hair again. I want my hair really long any ways so that's sounds great to me!
3) Would You Rather... Have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I would rather have a coral cheek. I don't think I suit pink as well as coral but I think it's still hard to find a nice coral colour.

4) Would You Rather... Have £1000 to spend all on clothes or all on make up?
This was a bit difficult but after thinking it over I would definitely rather spend it on clothes. As much as I love make-up I would just be able to buy all the clothes I wanted and that makes me happy!

5) Would You Rather... Apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
Definitely apply eyeliner as lipstick. You can find pretty much any colour eyeliner so it wouldn't be too bad.
6) Would You Rather...Only shop at MAC or Sephora?
It would have to be MAC. I just adore their lipsticks too much!

7) Would You Rather... Only use one eyeshadow or one lip colour for rest of your life?
Well I live for different lipsticks so it would have to be only use one eyeshadow.

8) Would You Rather... Wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
I pretty much wear all my summer clothes in winter anyways, just with tights or jumpers over the top so I would have to choose that.

9) Would You Rather... Have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Easily bright nails! I think they brighten up a whole outfit no matter what the season is!
10) Would You Rather... Give up your favourite lip product or favourite eye product?
I'd rather give up my favourite eye product because I really wouldn't be able to give up my favourite MAC lipstick!

11) Would You Rather... Only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I wear my hair in a messy bun like a lot these days but I'm going to have to say a ponytail because I'm really not good at doing messy buns and it frustrates me when it all falls out! I'd rather keep it simple with a ponytail.
12) Would You Rather... Never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
I can't even remember the last time I wore lipgloss so I would rather never use that again because I live for painting my nails!

13) Would You Rather... Shave eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in each day?
I would have to sharpie them in, but not very much. I think I would look absolutely ridiculous without eyebrows!

14) Would You Rather... Live without make up or nail polish?
As much as I love my nail polishes I wouldn't be able to live without my make-up so I'm going to have to say live without nail polish unfortunately :(

So that's the end of the tag and I want to tag you lovely lot who read this because I think this is a good way to get to know a blog owner better! Comment if you do this tag too so I can see if any of our answers are the same!

Youtube!

So recently on my YouTube Channel I managed to pass the 100 subscriber mark, and I know it doesn't seem like lots but I was so chuffed that 100 people were subbed to me. I think of it by imaging them all standing in front of me, and then I realise that 100 is actually quite a lot of people!
Also two of my videos also got over the 1,000 views mark which baffles me even more!
I'm extremely grateful for everyone that subs to me and comments because I really do enjoy making videos and I just hope everyone else likes them too!
Overall I'm just saying that I'm super happy with how my channel is going so far and thought I would have a post where you can see all of my favourite videos all in one place!

Firstly the two videos with over 1,000 views which I'm so proud of!

And I think these are my favourite videos that I've made!

And lastly, my most recent videos that I've done!

So these are a few of my videos but if you would like to check out my channel I'll leave the link here! So go and check that out if you'd like!

Sandal Galore!

Recently I bought two pairs of shoes in less than a week, but I am not ashamed!
I'd wanted a pair of these shoes for ages and never seemed to find any that I liked until I found these. They're like leather fabric sandals with lot's of straps and then buckles down the side, and I found these for only £15!
The only problem is that they're a bit too small so I'll either just wear them in or exchange them for a size higher.

And then these beautiful shoes I bought for my birthday, as a part of my birthday outfit. Even though I wasn't looking for high ones, I came across these and bought them anyways!
They're also white leather and even though they're a size bigger than my feet, I don't think they looked big when I wore them. These were £25 from New Look.

I love both of these pairs of shoes and can't wait to wear them more!

July Glossybox!! (Spoilers)

I was so happy when I opened this months GlossyBox as I'm in love with all things American, and this month's box design was dedicated to it!
The box design was so stunning that I just sat admiring it for a bit until my curiosity got too much and I had to open it. I was pleasantly surprised that all the products this month were also full products and from the looks of it, I'll use every single one of them!

Firstly is the ABSOLUTE New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer. And I've actually never owned a eyeshadow primer before, which I know is pretty bad, and I'd been thinking about buying one. But now I have this one that I can try out and I can't wait to see how well it works on my lids, as I have my birthday this weekend so lots of partying to test it out!

Next is the Bellapiere Cosmetics Ltd Mineral Lipstick in the colour Mandarina. It's a really deep orange and as you know I've fallen in love with orange lipsticks lately. So I can't wait to try this one out!

The next product is the Color Club nail polish in the colour Glossy Seal, especially made for this months Glossybox. It's a really pretty teal colour and I can't wait to try this out!

The next product is the NYC New York Color Cream to Powder Blush Stick in Never Sleeping Pink. I've never tried a cream blush before and this is a kind of pink I've also never tried so I'm excited to see what it looks like!

Lastly is the Carmex Lip Balm that I have surprisingly never tried before either and I'm not sure why. But I have just tried this and it makes my lips feel so soft and doesn't taste as horrible as most lip balms too. Also feels tingly when it goes on, don't know if it's supposed to but it feels great! Great product!

Overall I'm really pleased with this months Glossybox and will definitely be using everything in this months. I can't wait to try everything out, reviews will hopefully be out soon!

My Mad Anxiety Diary #2

So it's been ages! I had a break from my blog when I was away but I'm struggling to get back into it. I'm having pretty bad writers block and trying to find the time to write is difficult. But I'm determined not to give up on this blog because I love writing so much!

Anyways I haven't actually written anything about my holiday.
To be honest it was one of the best experiences of my life but some parts were the worst. If you've read my previous MMAD then you'll know that I was very nervous about going to Zante, on a holiday without my parents for the first time.
The nerves seemed to get worse and worse, and they got pretty bad when the plane was delayed. I just wanted to get on it and be there, as I don't like flying too much. I had a bit of a panic as they called our gate but I dealt with it, being organised and my friends made sure to distract me. Once I got on the flight I was perfectly fine, in fact the flight was great!
It was night time when we landed and we all grabbed our bags immediately on got to our hotel. There we were met by our reps where we booked a few events. And I know this is going to sound stupid but I didn't realise how much drinking was going to be involved. I know I should've thought of that but every single event was like a competition to see who could get the most out of it, which didn't appeal to me. I booked the events anyway because I wanted to spend the nights with my friends, and I wouldn't have to drink if I didn't want to.
For the first couple of days I wasn't well at all. I obviously didn't get much sleep so also with the heat I felt like I couldn't eat anything. But I knew I had to or else I would feel worse. I spent quite a lot of time in my room, out of the sun whilst everyone else just went by the pool. I went through lots of ups and downs, and lots of calls to my mum, because I knew I felt this bad because of my anxiety. So I was taught to just go through with it and deal with it because in the end it does make you feel better. I tried eating as much as I could and distract myself until the feeling passed. And it did by night time so I could go out then.

But one night I didn't feel better so I decided to have the night off and stay in the hotel just relaxing. Before midnight some of my friends came back with one of them hardly able to walk. so they asked me to look after her so I said yes but she was being sick. And that is one of my biggest fears, strange as it is. So I could feel my anxiety rising because I didn't know what to do with her, but luckily she just passed out.
I dealt with it though which I'm proud of even though I didn't get much sleep that night.

Soon enough I got used to the heat, started to eat more so then I really started to enjoy myself. There were still times when my anxiety raised but I just powered through because I was having such a good time.

Thinking back to it now I still can't believe I got through a whole week that was completely out of my comfort zone. I'd never been in a situation like that before but I think taking my anxiety into account that I dealt with it the best I could. I have all my friends to thank for that, who helped me when they could and never left me alone when I felt anxious. Without them I definitely couldn't have lasted the whole week. Also a huge thanks to my mum who was always on the other end of the phone whenever I needed her. She knows just the right things to say to me.

I also never thought I'd say it, but I actually miss the place and would love to go back! I made some amazing memories and met some awesome people that I'll never forget.
I also created a little montage of a few videos I'd taken so check it out!!
Zante 2014!!

Zante 2014 was an amazing experience and I feel that I've grown so much now, learning how to deal with my anxiety more. I feel stronger and more capable of things I wouldn't have done a year ago.

Overall I'm just glad I did go through with the holiday because it's made me a better person!
