Spy Love Buy Wishlist

So this is the first wishlist of a few because I've been doing lots of window shopping at the minute for Autumn clothes! So there will be a lot of wishlists on here soon.
The first one is from Spy Love Buy and I'm in love with pretty much all of their shoe collection but these are my favourites.

Firstly are these tan coloured heeled boots that have my favourite cleated sole on them! I fell in love with these soles when they first came out and I still love them just as much! These shoes are also only £32.95 with free UK delivery which i think is amazing for the quality of shoes that they look! I think these will look perfect with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a leather jacket in autumn and winter.

Next are the cute little black dolly shoes. These remind me so much of my old school shoes and I never thought they would ever come back into fashion, but I find myself really wanting a pair! I think these will look so cute with a pretty girly dress or even a pair of leggings and a cute flowy shirt! Also can be worn with nice frilly socks in autumn and winter when it's colder!

And on the bottom are a pair of patent black boots. I recently bought some like this but not as low, so I've been looking for some that I can wear out shopping instead of really high ones for a night out! I really like these shoes and I think they'll look nice with any kind of jeans or leggings and a nice leather jacket for autumn,

And last are these knee high boots that I fell in love with as soon as I saw! I've wanted knee high boots for so long but didn't know whether I would pull them off so I'll have to try some on this autumn. There was a girl in college that wore a pair of these regularly and I never asked her where they were from but I'm so glad I found a pair! That's why they're on my wishlist. I think they will look great with jeans tucked in and cute quilted coat in the colder weather.

So that's my autumn wishlist from Spy Love Buy and you should check them out because I'm obsessed with their shoes at the minute!

Sandal Galore!

Recently I bought two pairs of shoes in less than a week, but I am not ashamed!
I'd wanted a pair of these shoes for ages and never seemed to find any that I liked until I found these. They're like leather fabric sandals with lot's of straps and then buckles down the side, and I found these for only £15!
The only problem is that they're a bit too small so I'll either just wear them in or exchange them for a size higher.

And then these beautiful shoes I bought for my birthday, as a part of my birthday outfit. Even though I wasn't looking for high ones, I came across these and bought them anyways!
They're also white leather and even though they're a size bigger than my feet, I don't think they looked big when I wore them. These were £25 from New Look.

I love both of these pairs of shoes and can't wait to wear them more!

Week 3: Brights VS Neutrals

Welcome to the 3rd week of the #BloggersDoItBetter Challenge! This week's topic is Bloggers do Bright and Neutral better, and I'll have to be honest I panicked a lot at this because I had no idea to write about. I don't really think of things as bright or neutral but now I've thought about it I have things that are similar but in different colours. So this week is going to be Bright VS Neutral with some of my things.

The first one is lipsticks. This was difficult for me because I really LOVE a bright lip, I think it makes the whole look come together. I also usually wear monochrome clothes so a bright lip adds a great pop of colour to an outfit. So it was hard to choose between my favourite bright lip but at the minute it's the Maybelline Color Sensational in the colour Shocking Coral.

It's such an amazing colour and I'm never usually into pinks but this is more of a coral colour so I thought I'd give it a go. It's also really pigmented, the swatch is only one stripe of the lipstick and it stays on for ages (it's actually really hard to get off!)
So the VS Neutral product is also a Maybelline Colorsensational Popstick in the colour Tropical Pink. The colours look really similar but this one is actually see through when you look at it. I go on about this lipstick so much but it's because it's more of a tint than anything else which is why I think it's more neutral than the one above.

As you can see from this swatch it's barely even there but it leaves a really nice hint of pink on your lips. I wear this a lot more casually rather than on a night out but it does last ages.

The next item is heels. I've only really recently become slightly obsessed with heels but it wasn't too difficult to find a bright and a neutral.

These bright red shoes are probably my favourite heels ever. They weren't expensive at all and the colour is so stunning. They're also the comfiest heels I've ever had because the platform is so big that your foot isn't actually bent that much. These also match most of the monochrome clothes that I wear on a night out.

And then I found these heels tucked away in my wardrobe. I think I got given these as a hand me down but they're originally from Miss Selfridge. Even though it doesn't look it, these are pretty tall but they're still really comfy. They're a lovely nude colour with cute little bows on the front.

The last thing I found were these swing tops. For the bright one I used a top that I've bought recently from Select. It was only £6 and the material is a really thin top in mint green. I'm completely obsessed with this colour for spring and this is probably one of the brightest pieces of clothing that I own. I'm so pleased with this purchase.

And compared to this I found a similar style top but this one is black velvet instead. I've worn this top so many times because it's so easy to pair with everything and it's easy to wear casually or on a night out. It was so inexpensive and worth the price for all the times I've worn it and it's become a staple piece in my wardrobe.

So those are my Bright VS Neutral products. I've realised that you will always need the neutrals in your wardrobe to match all the bright things you buy and vice versa. I can't wait to have more bright pieces of clothes though for spring and summer because I feel I don't have enough. I'll have to venture out to orange, pink and maybe even yellow!

Do you prefer brights or neutrals?

Bloggers do Bargains Better!

So this week on the #bloggersdoitbetter group the topic is bargains!
If you read my blog regularly then you'll know that I absolutely LOVE bargains. Now-a-days I'll only buy something expensive if I really love it, instead I buy dupes or cheaper things because I'm a student with hardly any money.
I was hoping to show some of my recent bargains but I haven't had time to go shopping at all recently so I decided I'm going to show you my favourite shoe bargains of all time!

Firstly these shoes. These shoes are such a great dupe for real Dr Martens. They look like the shoes, except the obvious yellow threading around the sole and the little tag at the back. But everyone knows how expensive real Dr Martens are so when I found these ones in Select for £18 I knew I had to get them! (I also bought a maroon pair...) I think they look just as good and you don't have to break the bank to get some. They're also extremely durable and have lasted me all winter.

My next bargain is my favourite of all time. These shoes were off eBay after I'd done some rooting and they are a dupe to the real Juju Jelly shoes that are everywhere right now. The real Juju Jellies are about £28 from Topshop and New Look but I got these ones for only £13! They look exactly the same as the real ones except the logos on the side and heel. But when you're wearing them, it's hard to notice. So if you don't want to spend loads of money on some jelly shoes then these are perfect for you!

And lastly these shoes aren't really a dupe, more of a bargain. I got them in the winter sale at Tescos (a British supermarket) where they were supposed to be £22 but in the sale they were only £7! They're just simple black platform shoes with a little ankle strap but they're really trendy and also really comfortable.

As you can see I own a lot of black shoes! I think I need some colour soon for summer!

Anyone else think that shoe bargains are just the best?!

Christmas Presents and Winter Sales

So Christmas had been and gone so I thought I'd show you what I got for Christmas this year!
(This is in no shape or form me bragging about what I got but I just want to show some of my favourites)
I've also thrown in some of the things I've bought over the holidays too, although I haven't been shopping much.

So firstly I got this set of 10 Revlon Top Speed nail varnishes. I thought when I first saw these that they were an odd mix of colours as they didn't really match but I love them all individually. I think my favourites are the far right one called Royal Blue, the one next to that called Cloud and the one fourth from the right called Mistletoe. Most of these varnishes are glittery and I can't wait to use them all!

I also got some more nail varnishes from No7 in a set called Fingers and Toes. I can't wait to use all these pretty colours.

And finally I got this Barry M nail varnish which as you know is my favourite brand. This is one of the special ones with like metallic strips inside. I think this will look nice to spruce up a plain colour.

I bought these shoes in Tescos of all places! I never usually thought that Tescos would sell things like these but when I was mooching around the sale items a size 7 caught my eye and I was gutted that I couldn't find any others. But I kept looking and finally found the last pair which were luckily a size 6. They were originally £22 but I managed to bag them for only £7! Major bargain!

I actually bought this 'hat' in London before Christmas. I'd always wanted one and when I saw this one I knew I had to buy it. It keeps my head so warm and matches all of my clothes.

I got this perfume for Christmas too which is the Katy Perry Killer Queen one. I had the Lady Gaga Fame last year and absolutely loved it but I wanted something else. This isn't fruity or sweet, it's quite musky and 'sexy' if anything, and I absolutely ADORE the pretty bottle! It also wasn't expensive.

My mum bought me this book and I can't wait to get started on it when I have time!

I was probably mostly excited about the Real Techniques set that I also got. I'd been nagging my mum for it for ages but I didn't expect her to get a full set, only one brush. They're dirty already too because I've been using them non-stop but they're just so soft. Really good at applying make-up and I highly recommend them.
I also got these two MUA palettes. I think everyone knows that I've kind of started collecting them now but they are just so good. The colour pigment is amazing compared to the price of £4-6 which is insane for 12 pigments. I have many different ones now, mostly neutral so I was happy to get the bright sparkly one.

You can never have Christmas without the body lotions and scrubs. I got a Gok Wan set with a body wash, shower scrub and body lotion. I also got from the No7 set Softening Foot Balm and Revitalizing Hand Saviour. And then my best friend got me the chocolate and vanilla hand lotion which smells amazing!

I also happened to get two onesies. A red and cream candy cane style one and a Primark dinosaur one that matches my brothers!

I bought this playsuit today from Liverpool. It's a really pale blue colour which I didn't think would suit me because of my hair but I think it looks quite nice. The back ties up aswel which made me love it even more. It's also the first playsuit I've ever owned. And I have a feeling that this pale blue is going to be very in style in spring and summer.

This book is absolutely amazing. Written by two sisters, they list millions of different inspiration and ideas that can help you in your photography. I've been in a bit of a rut lately with my photography so this book has been great at helping me out with my ideas.

I also got other bits and bobs like hair stuff, scarves and a new hairdryer which I'm grateful for. With my money that I got too I'm going to buy two softbox lights so that I can make my videos a lot better with amazing lighting!

I love seeing what people got for Christmas and I hope everyone got what they wanted!
